Do you use them? Which ones if yes? And are they really helpful in your case?

Yes, I use some of them and they're really helpful for me for controlling my health and keeping the track of my physical/fitness progress :) But such apps are only additional tools for me because any of them can't replace good doctors and fitness trainers, besides many of them still need some serious upgrades in future. Personally I like the most of all such apps as CareZone, Weather Underground, MyFitnessPal, SleepCycle and Fooducate.
In my opinion the main advantages of such apps are:
    - time saving and general high efficiency (for example you can save time with picking your test results from clinic and have a fast communication with your doc because of them too)
    - convinience (you need now only to have a tablet/smartphone to monitor and manage your health, besides healthcare software development provides many cheap and free apps too)
    - encouraging general healthy behavior (considering their accessibility very many people can use them and become more interested in keeping themselves healthy, also it's even fashionable now to use such apps, especially among young people and teenagers)
But on the other hand there's nothing totally perfect in life and it's fair for these apps too. For example, there's a lack of data privacy in their case, lack of regulation for their quality and approval by serious medical specialists, providing rather often the wrong information about your body state and so on http://blog.supplementalhealthcare....are-on-go-pros-and-cons-of-mobile-health-apps .
