Got a smile from a cute girl today... made it all worthwhile

    I was paying for my groceries. She looked at me. I looked at her and smiled. She smiled back. I felt happy inside.

    The point is, you will get small victories during the reboot, and while I am still far away from changing my lifestyle and breaking my old habits, it is these small moments that make it all worthwhile.

    They are little signs that tell you "hey, there IS something on the other side that you might enjoy". Life's joys are not all about porn and masturbation. That girl's smile made my day, something that no PMO session had given me before.

    i imagine i know what your talking about, that's a resone i want to quit m and o, so i can want to have relationships to women, rather then just my self and my computer.

    Dude, that is a great feeling. I love when that happens. I find myself never acting on opportunities like such. I have a few instances in recent history where I had interactions that could have led to something romantic, but I was too shy to do anything about. It saddens me to think of the missed opportunities there, but sometimes it is best to look forward, and not back.

    Exactly, it is simply that we don't act upon those moments because our automated response is to think "it is much easier to go back home and PMO". Now that PMO is out of the equation, our automated responses are slowly going back to "let's do this!" which is awesome!
