Going to make my wife happy

This was and has been the same for me for many years. So much so that I would have guilt anger in her return which would often lead to pointless arguments.

Often within moments of her leaving I would have booted up the Pc ready for a pmo session.

Now things are different. I don't want to feel guilt or frustrated on her return. I don't make excuses to stay home while she pops out . I don't want to be that person I hated and was ashamed of.

I'm glad someone else has the same revelation. I often persuade her to take my car as 'it has fuel' and while she is out will wash, wax and detail hers or clean the house as you have mentioned. The feeling of pride from a job well done combined with looking after my good lady far surpasses the guilt of a tissue surrounded PMOfest .
