I had no clue and clicked on it and then I realised what it is but didn't clicked immediately off only after 10 seconds! But my heart rate was normal not extremely high or anything like that. So did I relapse?

*You* didn't relapse because it was not an intentional act on your part, but it could be said that relapse happened, if that makes sense.

A good general rule of thumb is of course not to open stuff if you don't know what it is. I understand that it was from a friend so it's trusted, but outside of security for your computer/device there's security for your psyche in the reboot.

No. Relapse is when you go back to your old habits.
However, if you deliberately expose yourself to P materials, it would make you reset your plan back to the beginning.
I recommend you avoid completely in order to avoid reset or even relapse.

  4. I'd say it's not a relapse. The same thing could happen if you watch the television and there could be sexual content on it when you switch the channels. You didn't look at it for too long and you also didn't deliberately search for it, so it's not a relapse. Be more careful next time and especially now for a few days when it has triggered you.

Thanks for the reply but no. I just watched a video from a Christian Fapstronaut who did an video about what counts as an relapse and he said if you went to porn site( in my case the video from a friend) but clicked of after a couple of seconds then you didn't relapse, actually it's an victory, because you managed to stop it and said no to porn.

That's definitely not a relapse. Everything unintentionally is not a relapse, just like a wet dream. I recommend you just delete that video. If you purposely look up explicit content on the internet, now that's more of a relapse (even that isn't really in my opinion but debatable). So you're all good

Yeah it comes down to our intention. When people are like "I'll just look a few seconds longer" then that's different. If we always maintain the intention then we don't even relapse mentally, that's why I set up the volition challenge. That's why it's important to be honest about that because otherwise you could lie to yourself and justify it. I actually don't even define p-Sub in terms of what you see like swimsuit pic or whatever, I definte it in terms of the intention. If our reason for looking at something/someone is to get off, even if it's a fully clothed person that could be considered pSub because that's what your mind is doing so it's not really about what you saw but why your mind chooses to look at it.

I think what's more important is the follow up question:
Are you going to use that 10 second slip up to renew your commitment stronger than before, or are you going to let it drag you into seeking out relapse materials?
    It's rhetorical, of course.
