I do wear pyjamas when cold or only boxer at summer time (in that case, it is not enough... but the most important is not to pmo whatever side effects can happen ). For me, it is not messing up things so much. I realise that I am most of the time on my back and it stays on my belly. Just wipping up and it leaves no visible traces anywhere. It can wait for the following day to change everything. The days following wet dreams had always been tough to me.

 

I have preferred to sleep naked when the weather is warm, but in the winter I find I would rather wear sweat pants and a tee shirt to bed just to stay warm. Sometimes I would MO into my sweats and simply roll over and fall asleep, as the sweats would soak up the cum and then I could maximize the awesome sleep after the orgasm without having to take time to clean up. Anyway, that has worked for me at times.
Recently, since starting the MO free on Feb 8th of this year, I have also started to wear underwear to bed under my sweats. Yes, clean underwear. I have started to do this for a couple reasons. The underwear, not boxers, but real underwear, holds my penis snug against my body, not allowing for much random movement leading to arousal. My penis rubbing against the sweats was very arousing at times, and it is very easy to get into sweats to adjust the penis, just to touch it for a second because it feels so good, and then to MO and end up with a load of cum in my sweats. With the underwear, the penis is not quite as accessible, and the underwear is just an extra barrier, an extra reminder, that my hand does not go on my penis anymore and to move it away.
Also, when I get aroused either randomly, or snuggling with my wife, and I start to leak precum, it gets soaked up by the underwear nicely. Also, some of my sweats have a the opening in the front for easy access to whip out the penis to pee, and I would find sometimes my penis would get erect and sneak out the opening and the precum would then leak onto the sheets and I do not like that, and nor does the wife, and of course I would usually be on her side of the bed when that happened so it would be her sheet that would have these little wet spots on it.
And lastly, someday I hope to have another wet dream, and having on underwear will simply make that pleasant mess all the easier to contain.
