I often spend hours and hours on the computer day after day downloading thousands and thousands of pictures and videos. I then toss them all in one of hundreds of folders to never even be seen again, but I feel like I must have them. I collect them like Pokemon. Is this normal behavior for someone addicted to porn and masturbation or is this the result of some deeper psychological problem? Please I need help as I live in constant fear someone will find one of my drives and that I will be humiliated. The large collection I have gathered also takes up lots of space and requires me to purchase large external drives, which gets very expensive.

I can't speak for anyone else, so I only speak for me, but this was very normal for me. MANY times I would search for porn online in the form of videos, pictures, and stories. I would save them to my hard drive without really even taking time to look at it the way I normally would look at porn....it just felt calming in a way and sort of reassuring to know that I had some porn locally if I wanted to look at it and couldn't get online.

This is entirely normal. You need to delete every single one of them. Literally sit down for an hour or so, and delete every nsfw, mildly nsfw or even just suggestive image, video, gif on your PC. Check everything, all the drives, flash drives and even disks. Go to your cloud service and check there too. Don't let a single trace of it remain on your machine. Wipe your browser history to.

Sitting down in front of my computer, knowing it is 100% clean of porn made me much more encouraged and motivated in my journey. Try it yourself!

  4. i recommend first deleted everything, and second limit your time you spend online, give yourself 30 minutes a day or something.
