Gen Z is, on average, thinner than Millenials. So...the kids are all right.

  6. It was a problem with helicopter parents. 90s kids went outside, and generally were thinner, even though we ate the same garbage, then tech hit, and parents got the noids bad. Everyone was a pedophile, everything was unsafe, gotta keep the kids at arms length at all times. In reality incidents didn't go up, it was just that access to info about them went up. Then the kids kept at arms length got a bit bitter, so they started cutting the cord so to speak.

Perhaps it is because we have finally started to mature with the level of tech we currently have.

One of the main reasons for the obesity these days is all the hormones and other additives put into foods these days that negatively effects how the human body reacts to it. It's harder to keep from gaining excess weight. It's why over the last few years there has been this major movement towards trying to get people to eat foods with no added hormones and other additives.
