Falling for the same trap

  1. Any one go through time where in your life it gets crappy, you get the urge, though knowing better to not do it and after doing it, despite the short high you get, you just feel more like shit & get more angry at your self for giving into the urge?

    I’ve been doing NoFap for what feels like 2 years, with me constantly relapsing way th the longest being 28 days & even then not feeling I was doing it right because I edged at times.

    I’m sick of the fact I keep doing it, yet I don’t seem to stop.

    So any suggestions to try and work better on what I should do to try and resist, or is it something for me to figure out?
     
  2. Hey man ...I m gurdeep and i in same situation as you are now. I started doing NoFap Since last 4-5 Month ...My longest streak was 60+ Days ..That was really big achievement for me..My life was totally at his highest potential at the time.But In last couples of week I get into the trap again .Its all because i got into some old bad habits again such as waking up late in the morning or got addicted to video games or Using to much social media Which was mostly the cause of multiple relaspses.But I m back in the game man ....Feeling more motivated than Before.Mate listen its all in the mind..You need to be mentally strong than you can be strong both physical or Socialy and as well as emotionally stable..My telling you from my owen experience so far..You need to found whats are yours causes /Trigger of Relapse... Found them out and Break them ...I mean make youself busy all the time ...You should have no free time to think about negative Things okk...Start waking up early and then doing some Exercise for 10-15 minutes and as well as 10-15 meditation.. Also you should try cold showers i tried them they helps a lot.You need to make a time table for yourself..Before sleeping You should Note down Five importants things you must to do at any cost tomorrow.. I also prefers you to read self help or development books mate...I hope this all helps you out....By the way i m always available for you man ..Talk to Me anytime and about anything...#Peace

Well I think I know what they are, as of feeling overwhelmed with stuff and seeing certain site that has a mix with NSFW, so I know I need to keep away from them at the moment where I am not tempted. These advices I need to to try to apply. I do exercises in the morning, though not having a job, causes me to wake up later then I'd like to & thus have no structure with my day, need to get back to having a structure in my day. I also Meditate as well, though need to make it more of a habit for every day and not too late before I go to sleep, which is a lot later than I like it to be, which also needing to work on. With no job I have way too much free time, which I want to work on doing more important things, instead of just being mindless online. Though been doing it long and keep failing, I still haven't given up, as similar to my exercises, so I hope that me keeping them up, it will get to a point where I can go longer and do more with myself.
