A question - ed drugs help? If i do the next 12 months on ed drugs - surely pied will rewire in that time. Surely it will come to a point in 12 months (this will be 2 years no pm for me), where you just stop taking them but pied should be gone anyway?

  3. Noone can predict your individual response, just try and see. In my case, I used both tadalafil and sildenafil (nofap isn't letting me use the brand names) and they didn't help at all. I haven't tried prostaglandin E1 yet.

My experience on V is that it worked well at first, but as PIED got worse, drugs stopped working. I was up to 100 mg and could get hard, penetrate and then immediately go soft. I now take 20 mg and have no problem most days. At that dosage, side effects aren’t as troubling.

Thanks @Unhooked but how did pied get worse though??? People would say you must have still been watching porn. Otherwise this debunks the whole theory of no pmo out of the window?

This actually happened to me - it got worse but I wasn’t watching or fapping to porn. So the whole theory of Nofap is nonesense to me now. This isn’t working

It got worse prior to me starting on NoFap. Once I went no PM, I saw improvement within a couple of weeks. It’s been slow and gradual but things are so much different than a year ago.

I honestly think I have severe performance anxiety :(

In my experience that seems to go along with ED. You fail, then you worry about failing again. You get all up in your head instead of enjoying the pleasure of the moment. So, you fail again. You get the picture, I’m sure.

I think that’s the only obstacle I need to get past. Pied is probably cured by now - I probably didn’t even have that. I spend too much time reading these forums and for me it simply makes things worse rather than helping

Try reading the success stories. That can be more encouraging.

My goal is to get off the drugs, but I’m not too concerned about rushing that or even if it doesn’t happen at all. I’m nearly a year PM free but don’t feel confident enough yet to go without. I tried a couple of times several months ago, but it didn’t go so well. I still have issues with ED and DE on occasion, but when things are good, they’re very, very good. I don’t worry too much about taking the dosage I am on. It’s a generic form, so the expense is only about $3 an episode, which is pretty good and pretty cheap entertainment.:p
