Hey guys. I am 1 year sober from porn. But since 1 month, my head feels heavy and headache and feels like pulsating. Sometimes it happen, sometimes it not.

Is this normal in reboot? Can it be because i am now 22 years old, and was watching porn since i was 10 years old, so healing takes more time and it's just a symptom of healing.

Each person is different, somebody has severe flatlines first months, some people need more time like 2 years or more and some people may never experienced a flatline, they have linear process but this case mostly doesn't happen. Actually for most of us, rebooting is not a linear process like you and me who started pornography such a young age, and using internet porn during puberty. In my case I had couple times 60+ days last 5 years, everytime I decide to quit PMO and I felt worse afterwards, didn't see and benefits and I was givinp up. But I never gave a change my brain to fix chemical imbalances and I have years of flatline because of that. A lot of us, we use internet porn for many years. And I think that personally, I don't think I heal in 6 months or more. I need more time to heal. Look at this:

Otherwise, I think that the other beneficial stressor can help you to gaining a new balance. Do you have any exercise routine? Do you eat healthy foods? What about your sleep routines?

I can add this, if you think you are doing all of good and you can't exactly know and you have what's wrong with me thought you should know, you are not alone. Founder of rebootnation, Gabe Deem said one of his videos : Withdrawal symptoms is not permanent, it goes away and never lose your hope."

And you made over 1 year, congrats! This is wonderful thing just leave your old habits and let you go! Because this is the best thing you can do :)

371 days is a killer streak dude! I would avoid being quick to blame it on quitting porn. That sounds like a slippery slope towards a steep relapse! If it is bad, I would see a doctor if that is an option for you. Otherwise, try drinking more water and changing your diet? I don't think that not jerking off or watching porn could possibly give you headaches. Almost definitely something else. Just an opinion though.
