Does thinking of porn related thoughts & being aroused/get an erection reverse/affect recovery?

Does thinking of porn related thoughts & being aroused/get an erection reverse/affect recovery?

  1. Yes, it does. Please try to avoid from any dirty thoughts and stop them as they come.

  2. No, it doesn't as long as you don't react to it physically like watching porn.

I've successfully abstain from masturbation and orgasm for more than one month, I didn't even touch my penis at all and the addiction for those are gone. I'm good in controlling these parts.

However, sometimes I'm still aroused to stuff that stimulates sexual excitement/arousal (pornography) such as photos of people that appear on the web or my own body parts like my arms, hands, etc. For these cases, there were several times I felt like a little bit of stuff gets spurted from my penis when it erect when being "turned on" to those kind of porn, which sometimes worry me. Can anyone explain this? Is it ejaculation, but a minor one? If yes...oh my god, looks like even porn is dangerous and risks me to lose sperms/nutrients, but in small amounts. If so, porn is also an enemy/poison too then!

I'm told that even watching to porn without masturbation and orgasm will cause the negative side effects that masturbation would usually do, so now I'm training myself to avoid watching/looking at or exposed to any kind of porn/sexual stimuli.

Therefore, recently, sometimes, even if I'm not looking at any porn, my brain gets dirty/porn-related thoughts and my brain would fantasize/think about it. I feel like in arousal mode and my penis erects. I feel a bit of pleasure.
So, I'm wondering if this will affect or reverse the recovery/reboot process or not? Will the positive effects of recovery through NoFap slowly disappear? Does this count as "porn" too even if it's just thoughts and I don't watch it? Will it bring the same negative effects that porn/masturbation would do?

Do you think I should change my NoFap counter to count how many days I have stopped indulging in porn (anything about it) or let it be remain the number of days I abstained from masturbation/orgasm? Which one is better?
That's why maybe NoFap should have another option for the counter, which is the goal of "masturbation and orgasm" only...

It's negative as well... It also does produces dopamin, less than watching porn though, depends how long you think of it.

You should avoid fantasizing too much; it's a urge trigger. You have to reason yourself and stop your thoughts before they get too big.
How many times I relapsed just by making my own fantasies, thinking not watching porn is the only way to fight addiction...

  3. Where do we draw the line with fantasizing? Real sex scenarios shouldn’t be that bad.

I was talking about fantasizing alone of course.
When you're having real sex, things are not the same. I'd advice fantasizing only during a specific time, before sex for example, and not ruin your brain by thinking alone in the middle of the day and get flooded with sexual thoughts all day long.

  5. I think fantasizing alone is not all that bad unless you are full on having porn fantasy’s.

If your alone thinking about having sex with your wife after work or some hot chick you see on the sidewalk it’s natural.

That's the point. There is thinking and thinking.
I'm not saying it's a bad thing to develop fantasies, I'm just saying that thinking of it for too long during reboot can give you a urge in no time, than a relapse especially for ppl who lack self confidence and experience with women because they won't be able to do or substitute these fantasies in real life.
I also like to fantasize before sleeping, but I try to moderate it at some point because I know if I start thinking too hard it might end up on a relapse.

  7. In my opinion, looking at P and fantasizing is basically the same thing. It’s just watching P will release more dopamine compared to fantasizing. It’s what you are thinking you are looking at and it all takes place in your mind and brain.
