Does the numbness carry over when receiving a catheter?

I want to say it does but I'm wondering others thoughts on this. Okay so I received a catheter like 4 years ago or so and when the person was holding my penis(which was limp) he inserted the catheter in and I didn't realize this was what was going on at the time but now that I think about it when he inserted it I felt a little discomfort but it felt as though I was injected with lidocaine because when he put it inside it felt numb. Does anyone know if the numbness one experiences from deathgrip syndrome effects the penis outside of sexual stimulation? Is a death grip penis numb 24/7? I can't imagine having that catheter done without my penis being so naturally numb.


The only reason I even thought about this was after I had sex for the first time last month I remembered the last time I felt such numbness was when I had a catheter inserted. I would've never known I had a numb penis if it wasn't for sex. I assumed my penis was fine because I didn't have issues with erections with porn or noticed any numbness during porn.
