Different Stages of Flatline - What is flatline

  1. Getting away from PMO can be a lengthy process. Ratcheting your way out of it, like you are doing, is completely legit. The goal is to get the time between PMO to extend more and more. When you;re feeling that irresistible urge, reach out for support and encouragement. PMO is not a need, just a habit. You *can* break it, but you have to want to. I am starting again after a relapse myself. I had almost 18 months without PM. Now I am rebuilding. next time, I will be wiser. Staying connected here is a great way to help with my commitment in this regard!

    At any rate, good job. Keep up the great work. Cheering you on!

    in the first stage and the depression and anxiety is soo bad,also the non attraction was unneveriving at first until I done research and now I'm okay with it but God the depression is hard...the good thing is there are no urges anymore at least since I went into this mode

    How long is the depression and anxiety phase... I mean this might be a stupid question based on the amount of variables. I have a feeling it may have to do with length of time spent indulging in this garbage, age, etc.

    I had just a brutal flatline yesterday. Felt so blah, craved carbs, did not feel like working out or doing much of anything. This morning is a bit better. But...did NOT look at anything. Right now I have realized I need to dial my goals back some...and just start with committing to NF first and foremost. All other goals will fall in line and be added/adjusted later. I just will stick with this for the next few days.

    Hi guys i visited this page 5 days ago. So i have problem with ed(dead penis), IBS sindrom,BHP(nonbacterial prostatitis),and al other problmes like deppresion,anxiety,brain fog, heavy breathing, eye's problem,and diarhhea.
    Im 21 years old,and been in good shape for whole life. This problems appeared on the summer, i was mastrubating frequently(usually imagination but porn alsoo). i started fap when i was 9 and allways been on hard mode. i have no libido at all,girls dont attract me anymore(maybe because my ed problem). I've been fighting for 3 months now with this simptoms, been to the doctros taken some antibiotics but didint help me,will NoFap and cold shower help mi with this simptoms?

    not sure but i guess cold showers help people that feel horny and want to fap, in your case that u have zero libido actually u must do something to get ur libido back and then try to stay away from porn and fapping to get good results. some people including me trying nofap for months but we get no results and everyday is shit and gets even worse, we don't feel horny, we have zero urge and desire and yes we get nothing from noPMO because apparently something is wrong with our bodies.
    i kinda of feel that benefits are for people that feel horny during their noPMO phase but things are much more complicated in case of us who feel low without any desire.

  9. I went into flatline from exhaustion without knowing what it was
    It was a slow downhill progressive hell ride of about 3 years
    Then wham about a year ago flatline
    I now have severe anxiety, depression, no libido
    I’ve been getting morning wood lately, so hopefully I’m healing

    I am in a living hell man. I too suffer from panic attacks, depression, brain fog, memory problems and anxiety At first, I had no idea it was a withdrawal symptom, so I thought I was gonna go insane. Now am still suffering. Extreme sadness and loss of porpuse. Btw how can I pm you or any other member here. I am kind of new here so I don't know how to contact members privately.

    God this is the most depressing site.11 months? 9 months? I've never been able to pass a month! And I've done that only once! My flesh screams for appeasement! There has to be a better way.This is not encouraging.At the drop of a hat you go back to starting over???? Not sure this is the right way.

    If you go from a daily habit to once a week, that's a *huge* improvement, although a day counter won't show it. Things like spreadsheets or a visible block of Legos do a much better job communicating that info.

    I have to be in some intense flatline right now - I have no sexual desires and I feel depressed as hell. It affecting my work. I there one week were I felt incredible but I started fantasizing about P - that wasn't very smart.
    No more fantasizing or touching the willie

    I would say all those are me also! Except I would add even more, lots of fatigue, anxiety, and depression for sure! Libido is up and down, man what a roller coaster.

    I have been PMOing daily, sometimes multiple times, since around age 11 probably. I am currently 30. I draistically cut down about a year ago though, but would reset every 10 days or so.

    I will admit most days are much better than really early on. And I have had some really good days, but I’ve also had some really bad ones still. It’s a rollercoaster battle.
