I do get what you mean. However, as a 35 year-old virgin, personal growth for me is redirecting my sexual desire away from porn. I don't think there has to be a waiting period. I don't think "getting it in" and PMO are necessarily connected. They're only connected if I want to use "getting it in" as an excuse to use porn, in which case, that's on me

I agree. Rewiring from porn and hand to connecting with actual people is serious self-improvement. Other things like mood, energy, and productivity are improving in the process.
