Day 96.. it’s all psychological

    I started nofap on June 28th 2017. I relapsed ever so slightly on month 8, and month 10 I reset.

    I started again on April 1st 2018. And currently made it till now day 96 :)

    What’s happened previously in my first attempt I ended up in mental hospital in an unlawful assessment and in month 3/4. It was too much.

    I also suffer from Hypo Thyroid so that could have caused a conflict with fap?

    I was put on an antipsychotic called Abilify. I went monk mode for 5 weeks and under the influence of Abilify it felt serenity.

    I’ve gained weight from 11 to 14.5 stone on Abilify. And sat in the house everyday doing only gardening in the hot sun and watching World Cup.

    Tip1.. I keep my food intake minimal at the relevant times.

    Overeating and lounging can cause what the bible says Gluttony and lust. Limit your food to twice per day and keep it green.

    Tip2.. set your internet settings on iPhone and modem router to block or filter adult websites, this can make a huuuge difference between thinking of watching porn and deciding to fap. Once you know you can’t have access, it’s road to glory time. This has helped boost nofap by 50%, and less food boosted nofap by 40% the rest is exercise n prayer.

    Tip3.. get a football ⚽️, and find a suitable time n place to play pass n shoot with goal posts with a friend. This will improve endurance and channel sexual energy and staying out is helpful psychologically.

    I plan to go to month 12 this year. It will be hard but have to face the storm.

    Ps:: I can’t read or write so maybe it’s Hypo Thyroid or maybe fapping that’s caused it and I’ll try to keep to the point without waffling.

    Nofap is psychological. There was a time when you were Pre pubescent and healthy, sad but happy and you can return to the spiritual state again. Nofap will partially help you get there.

    I haven’t felt any benefit yet on nofap except improvement in my looks but once am off these zombie meds, who knows where I’ll be. God willing

    Day 115, still on Antipsychotic meds, but feeling okay. Can’t feel any benefits of nofap yet, not saying there is none but the meds continues to keep me zombified. Haven’t had an erection in 6 weeks. One of the disadvantages of meds is flattening the libido. I guess it’s good in a way. However I can feel the conflict between my thyroid, nofap and meds. Taking a little cbd or Medical cannabis helps with psychological stress. Even cold showers but I wouldn’t recommend if you have thyroid issues. For me, moderated cold showers were good till I ended up in hospital. Again it could have been too much. My body was coping wit nofap.

    My looks are beginning to improve and I’m feeling lethargic quite a lot, extremely actually. I’m hoping this can reverse my thyroid condition. Maybe it won’t. Who knows.

    Some tips again would be, no using phones after 7pm. If you have to, use it with security installed. It’s easy on iPhones.

    Stay out water plants eat good food remember to keep food green! Less = more, 2 meals are enough. Cut out sugars coke chocolate chips milkshake. All processed foods. Replace with natural Alternate. Depending on your location, Local farmers are best and a good option, cheap and healthy.

    I’m planning to double my streak on hard mode for next 115 days then monk mode once day 230 is reached.

    It can be tempting , but I’ll get there and so will you. It’s all psychological. Once the triggers are removed the influence dies and restraint becomes easier.

    Local farmers are being paid to stop producing organic food. So they need to sell their food and stick to their ethics. You will always find organic food from farm is lot cheaper. There’s a way to explain it I just can’t. £1 per litre of Organic milk not bad!

    Day 132, meds causing anxiety levels to rise, looks are fading away, youth is being lost to meds. Gone from 11stone to 14st. Overweight. But underneath my head something is starting to work itself slowly. The fire burning feeling in left side the hippocampus has gone. Some erections felt in last few days. This tells me the first flAtline phase is done away with. Or going away. Staying away from all media and tech is helping tremendously! And keeping busy too.

    The hippocampus is to do with depression and when. You watch porn it flares instantly . That may or may not return in second flatline.

    Day 139, relapsed ever so slightly. Started edging, went to another house and felt like a bad omen was there soon as I stepped in, no one was around typed in skintight gold club dress, saw the most beautiful girl ever n started edging. A little bit of jizz came out but the rest I held in n used cold water immediately. I’ve also grown a big bush down there to prevent libido. I’ve just come out of my 2 month flatline few days ago n now av got brainfog n headache again. I’m so upset! Besides, it doesn’t count as a relapse as was triggered by pressure from meds n still images of a clothed girl . Days go very slowly on Antipsychotic meds that’s why you have to keep double busy to avoid relapse.

    What streak is everyone else on?

    ... wherever you read that, you're mistaken. States of euphoria and depression are governed by many hormones such as oxytocin, prolacton, serotonin etc. The hippocampus is a region of the brain. It does not flare in response to extreme dopamine release- it shrinks. Please obtain your information from reputable sources bro...

    I’m on day 143,my relapse wasn’t really a relapse. It was just edging slightly.
    Yes I knew that, didn’t think it was relevant here and I didn’t have time to include it, the context of my writing was different.

    But the left side of my brain use to be on fire between month 3-4 on nofap! then that’s when I ended up on meds. A few months later or one bright morning it disappeared. Sometimes it comes back for a day or 2 intermittently.

    My prolactin levels have been measured, they came back as normal.

    Try measuring them an hour after a relapse and tell me if they aren't off the charts. The sleepiness and depression many experience after M is due to prolactin. The half-life is short so you don't see it elevated unless you have a tumor in the pituitary gland or someting

    I’ve got thyroid issue.

    Currently on Day 151. The only reason I almost relapsed was sudden sugar intake I had after many years and 4-8 small meals in 2 days, Big mistake! Avoid sugar like the plague. Avoid overeating and lounging about afterwards. I set my phone to filter inappropriately websites six months ago and somehow when searching for someone a nude pic was on Wikipedia! Then came the small urge but! I felt strange like I had never watched porn before.

    I’m still on meds hopefully should be weaned off them by next year. And when I do the confidence I will have should be good!

    April 1st was my start date. Slightly Edged 3 times since. But no orgasm.
