Day 7, and I'm already measurably better

I got great sleep last night without needing to use melatonin or NyQuil. My sexual endurance is flawless now, and I even noticed last night that I'm gaining sensitivities back that I haven't had in years! I'm energetic, excited, and even the girl that I'm dating said she notices I have a sort of glow. I'm excited to go to the gym today and burn some of this extra energy off too!

I'll admit, I'm feeling a withdrawal today, and I do periodically think about porn throughout the day, but it's nothing I can't manage myself. Between this forum and speaking with you all here, and the support I'm getting from this girl through it, I think I'm actually going to achieve cold turkey dropping PM and moving on with my life!

A year ago, I would party whenever I could. Drugs on top of drugs, wasting away the days, going into work in a headfog from the hangovers and masturbating not just the night before, but the morning of, and probably roll into the warehouse late because of it. I ate like shit, never worked out, drank to excess, and actively avoided my family and sometimes my friends, just to jerk off or get high.

Not anymore. All of that is over now. I legitimately can't even think of anymore demons to overcome, because I think I've got them all down! It won't be smooth sailing, I know, but I can finally see the horizon. There are storms, some choppy waters, but there is also sun and birds, and people to get through it all with.

I start a new career on the 21, and I don't think I've ever been more ready to start a new chapter in my life.

 

Man. Not happy about this, but I broke today. Had sex today and it was great, but I wasn't able to finish again. 2 and a half hours, and both of us wanted to take a break. We called it and after awhile, I took her home. Sitting at my place alone wishing I could've gotten to the end, and I cracked.

I can do better. 7 days will fly by, and I won't falter again. Going to just pick up and move on, and not dwell on this.
