Day 24 of NoFap hardmode: Is my flatline over?

  1. I woke up today with a minor to decent boner. I have been on a flatline since day 1. It came in waves, with some good days in between. I had the headaches, insomnia, depression, brain fog, fatigue, urges. Yesterday actually was my biggest urge, I hosed my penis down with cold water real quick and tried to be positive. The NoFap community helped me a lot by the way, knowing you guys were around, everyone of you with advise and answering questions and what not. Really made this easier. Imagine being on a flatline and not even knowing what the fuck is going on, even not knowing masturbation being toxic.

    If I stayed in this state of fatigue, and brain frog I wouldn't know if I would make it. But yeah, that's a different topic.

    So my diet is relatively good, I take supplements, I eat veggies and fruits and all that. I don't drink coffee, I drink tea and I have been doing pushups, squats and lifting weights. I have been a long time porn and masturbation user but never more than once a day, sometimes maybe 2, or every other day. Maybe that factors in. I think I survived 2 flatline waves, there could be a third coming, or maybe not.

    I went from fatigue > tired > normal as of today. I slightly pity myself from time to time, mild depression maybe, nothing major. No 'super powers' or true me yet.

    Like in my mind I already said goodbye to PMO for good, does that factor in? Maybe my brain is like fuck this let's rewire this is no use.


    After my 90 day hard mode is over, I will give my insight, some tips maybe and post when I can to help others.

    Hose your penis down with cold water....I've never heard of that approach. Cool!
     
  3. Oh definitely. That is what happens when your penis is trying to be naughty. I also have been taking cold showers, not very icy cold but yet cold. From warm to cold, prepare myself for the cold.

    Man that's cool your in day 24 and have dealt with flatlines and such. I'm curious about super powers so I'll be following you. I'm on Day Five but my record is 14. Flatlining is what killed my progress, just feeling dead inside so congrats on 24.

    I've somewhat been counting the days, that helped not relapsing because at day 14 you are closer to the end finish compared to day 0. And I can't really go back to my old ways, I have been self-destructing enough. I don't know if that is intentionally or not, sometimes I even craved death in life. It's a weird thing to say, certainly not suicidal, not really that is, but I wanted to get rid of myself so I am not a burden on this planet no more. I am pretty selfless, maybe bit too much.

    But I do have goals in life, and I hold onto that. I just don't wanna feel like shit anymore.

    Well I think you hit the nail on head, not wanting to feel like shit is why we have to keep on track with our commitment to see what it's like to be pmo free for 90 days. Which isn't easy but neither is the alternative so I'm hoping for your breakthrough for my own sake.

  8. It's going to be ok man, just stick with it. I will keep you guys updated. Full 90 day reboot, after that sex only. Never fapping or porn. I can't forgive the damage that has been done. Besides, porn isn't really us if we think about it. We just get seduced by an evil power.

    Yeah man...cold water from the shower head. Your penis is hot and needs to cool down, helps with the urges.
