Hey all, just made an account. I only discovered nofap a week ago. I've been addicted to porn for as long as I can remember. I haven't had a lot of trouble with getting girls but every time I hook up I can't get it up and if I do it isn't for long. The longest I've gone without fapping is 3 weeks but that was awhile ago. Usually I fap every day and its been awhile since Ive made it longer than a week. I realized recently that there's no way I can do this alone and I can't bring myself to tell a friend so hopefully this will help :)

Hi, your in the right place jovorman! Think about getting yourself a tracker (below this post) and going for 90 day reboot? Have you been to yourbrainonporn website? Also you might want to view some threads, chime in, help out and be helped. Were all here to help each other man (jovorman!!) All the best to :) you

This is the video that helped me become PMO free:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_RIm9ZMN1I

Why? Because it helped me understand my brain was rewarding P over sex, over actual reality, that my brain's chemical reward center could not distinguish between P and sex. Once you understand you have to go porn free, and do it, you will be OK. Easily said, hard to do. Porn is watching it, seeing it, thinking of it, imagining it, remembering it, stashing it, and using porn substitutes (for me, bikini models, softcore). I use tools, also, such as porn blockers. Either you are serious about quitting P and PMO or you are not.

Good luck on your journey. Peace. By the way, thanks for posting. Reading posts and replying are part of my recovery.

The tracker took a bit of figuring out for me too, ended up emailing support in the end, through Reddit I think? All the best :)
