Cyber sex

    I know this site is focused on porn addiction recovery, but I was wondering if there is anyone else like me who has a bigger problem with cyber sex than they do with porn (though I watch porn also). Specifically, seeking out and engaging in extended, explicit sexual conversations with online partners - sometimes involving sexting.

    That is porn IMO, or tantamount to it. It certainly equates to sexting and reading erotic literature and those are definitely porn. If it is a habit you cannot easily stop, it is likely you are addicted to it and you may spend hours doing this. You will definitely benefit from stopping this activity and allow your brain to recalibrate itself. A reboot back to its original settings.

    Yes, maybe porn is more of a catch all term to refer to sexual stimuli, be that visual, text, etc. Cyber sex is easily as addictive if not more addictive than pornography I have found.

    It's very common and is basically a form of porn addiction. I used to chat and look at P or P subs at the same time! Chatting alone was too boring I guess, so I did a "speedball" of the two instead, or just P.

    Ludicrous. It's all a load of crap. Here's a hint: google "SPAM REMOVED (spam code #001) - REPORT TO MODERATION SPAM REMOVED (spam code #001) - REPORT TO MODERATION".

    My addiction got so much worse when I started to cyber and cam. Avoid it if you can.
