Or can it be when I'm edging my rubbing my dick and swiping between photo to photo and then ejaculating when I find the 'most desirable' photo? Does the Coolidge effect play any role here?

  2. I would say it is more likely to play a role when edging to porn than when you have sex.

Really? I think I agree with you there. I stopped the habit, but I need to continue on this path.

  4. Have your porn preferences escalated to taboo or extreme genres then?

The feeling of heightened excitement and arousal when with a new partner (as opposed to the diminishing arpusal you may experience when having sex with the same person over time).

    No.

...and you agreed. However, you then said that your porn preferences, did not escalate to taboo or extreme genres.

So I'm really confused. The Coolidge effect (in porn) requires that someone needs more taboo and extreme types of porn to achieve the same levels of arousal and pleasure that used to happen with more traditional forms of porn. It sounds like you are saying you do not have the Coolidge effect at all. o_O But if that's true, why ask the questions in this thread? *Sigh*

Huh? I'm confused too. I believe I do have the Coolidge effect, just on a smaller scale. It seems like you're jumping to conclusions?
