Controlling the eyes, (Selfcontrol)

I agree, it is the best way to stay clean. I think lowering the gaze will help to reduce and weaken the things that may provoke desire in a person. but keeping it lowered does not imply that the gaze should always be kept lowered. It only means to imply that one should restrain the gaze and avoid casting of looks freely. That is, if it is not desirable to see a thing, one should turn the eyes away and avoid having a look at it.
Strengthening one’s resolve and willpower, for this will make us able to resist and control our desires.

 

I totally agree. Going further, not just looking to women is a key point but controlling the inner images and phantasies that appear in the minds landscape. If you have realized that looking to women is a trigger you will soon realize that controlling inner imaginery is even more important. Meditation helps a lot in this matter.
