I am posting about this subject because I have found very few articles relating to the it and I want to connect with other people who struggled with these sites. Also I want to bring attention to the problems that I have developed.

    My summarized story:

I started watching porn around 10 years old -- found my older brothers history on the computer. Soon after, I started watching porn at my friends house and we would jerk off ("without looking" or touching each other). This habit eventually ended and we began to hook up with girls. I used porn solo until around 16-17 years old. I realized I had a problem, stopped watching it, and started dating a girl that I had sex with often. We dated for a few years. When we broke up, she began dating my friend and I got depressed. I started using porn again and eventually discovered Chatroullette. During this time period, I began to hook up with girls and had a few other relationships with girls.

I began using the site to find girls to talk with when I was bored and horny. The ratio was very uneven - mostly guys - so I began talking with guys and sharing straight porn videos. Eventually, I got into the habit of fapping with other men on the site. This eventually became a fetish / addiction. Some people call it HOCD, bisexual, gay, etc. Personally, I do not consider myself gay because I do not fantasize about oral or anal sex with men. Also, I have only been in love with women and I cannot imagine loving a man like that. The fetish is simply mutual fapping with other "straight" men. This fetish led to meeting up with men via Craigslist for mutual masterbation.

After years of battling the problem, I am finally reaching a point where I am ready to change and stop the addiction and find my true self again.

Do any other men relate to this story? Please share your thoughts and feedback. All opinions are welcome. Thank you.

29 days no porn, no fapping.

I can relate to some degree. When I first started masturbating at the age of ~10 (can't remember precisely), a buddy of mine and I would seomtimes watch porn together on his brothers phone or something. We never jerked off while watching the videos, though; especially not together.

After watching porn for around 6 or 7 years, I started using those kind of websites as well. I was trying to find girls for cam sex like many guys do. On rare occasions it worked out surprisingly, but the vast majority of times, I only found other guys like me. However, I never became interested in them as you did. Very rarely I would stay a few minutes and chat with them and sometimes I even jerked off with them for a few minutes, but then continued searching for girls. Since I never really enjoyed fapping with other dudes, I didn't develope a habit of mutual masturbation as you did. I never gave me a rush like porn.

But in the past I read a couple of stories, which were really similiar to yours. So you're not alone with this issue, I assume. I think it's a quite common problem for a lot of people actually. Maybe someone will share his or her experience as well.

Ive had the same experiences. I went frequently to a senior chat room and had cyber and camming with women. Lately it has gotten harder to find women to play with. I found my self fapping with men. Im not gay but it was I got so hot I needed relief and they were there to watch and be watched.

  5. About 1 or 2 years ago I also found my way onto Chatroulette, and damn it was so addictive. I managed to stop it, but recently I got back into it. I would be on there from morning until night literally... And I wouldn't even want to go to bed because all I could think about was who was going to popup next. That & other sites like it are the most dangerous things ever - it works in the exact same way the gambling roulette game does to gamblers - it give you a quick fix every time the wheel stops & you just need to do it again to see what happens the next time.

Block those sites with a web-blocker and give somebody else the password ASAP.

Thanks for your reply. I agree - it's very addictive. Your story seems similar to mine. Can you recommend a specific web blocker? A problem I found in the past with these sites and web blockers is that there's always a way around it. Best case scenario is I bring my computer to an expert who can install the blocker to specifically block those sites. Apart of me wants to break my camera on my laptop! Thanks again man. I hope your recovery is going well.

  8. I use K9 web protection - I gave the password to my friend. If you use Windows it's also important to make sure your user account that has K9 installed is NOT an admin account - so you should create a separate admin account, install it all and give that password away with the K9 password to somebody else... Otherwise as an admin you will always find a way around it. And thank you :)

Do you know if K9 works for Apple as well?

  10. From what I've heard it does, but I don't know for sure :)

Good luck to you as well jackson. Do your best to keep from cyber and especially camming. Having another person playing makes it so much more erotic and intense. This is especially true whe other porn seems to lose intensity. Ihave found that performing while being watched is hard to stop.

The same thing happened to me I too began fapping with other men online even though I am married. Perhaps it was a coping mechanism or perhaps it was a sign of bisexuality I really don't know

Thanks for your honesty Steve. Did you end doing it often? Did it entice you to start watching porn you would not have watched otherwise?

Yes I would do it regularly and when I couldn't find a online partner I would watch porn of all varieties. I got more and more daring and thought I started to enjoy the same sex encounters which led to more fantasies

  15. ^^ I can massively relate to this. Sadly I went through with something, but the regret afterwards was insane.

  16. This is actually my 3rd mistake like that - though this one was the worst, and happened just 2 days ago.

I stupidly played out a fetish with an escort... Before even going I knew deep down I didn't want to do it, but because I was my edging by mind was pushed me into doing it... Even during I was thinking "what am I doing"...

I did PMO yesterday to try and "get over it" by fapping to normal stuff (yeah crazy logic) and today I have stayed totally free. I am hoping this is a turning point for me now... And that whilst I hated what I did, I am hoping that maybe it will somehow push me into abstaining from PMO because it turned out I do not like my fetish in real life!!

Here's to hoping anyway, I am going to try my best :(

  17. Glad to hear these stories from others (Don't mean that like it sounds lol). I have struggled with chatrooms (specifically Chat Avenue) and roleplaying. Still a problem that I'm trying to get rid of. Highly addictive.

  18. It would be better not to name porn sites here guys! o_O

  19. Why are you stalking me and trolling my posts? I've reported your post to the mods.

No one asked you for your advice either. You don't always have to hijack threads and tell people the way they should be doing things.
