It's time killing and it's bad for your mental and physical health

 

I want to stop for many reasons:

• I feel guilty when I watch porn or masturbate
• Porn makes me feel good, but doesn't provide any real sense of satisfaction or accomplishment in my life
• Porn wastes time I could spend exercising, strengthening my personal relationships, or perfecting my skills
• Porn and masturbation is the way I usually respond to feeling bad about myself, but it doesn't make me feel any better about myself
• Every time I relapse I feel worse and worse
• I'm deeply ashamed of the fact that I watch porn
• I want to have a healthier sense of sexuality and identity as a man

It feels good to write them out like that. It sounds like the main reason I want to stop is so that I can become a better person, meaning a healthier, more skilled man with deeper personal relationships and a sense of purpose.
