Can't sleep

    Hi guys, i wanted to do yesterday the challenge to No fapping 30 days, but I can't sleep, I always got some serious issues about sleeping, and fapping was the solution at the moment.

    Currently are 1:00 AM in my country and can't sleep, and would end fapping cuz i have to wake up to work at 07:00.

    Yesterday had the same issue, it was 05:00 AM and couldn't sleep, had to fap to sleep, and yes, I heard about workout, but my body is really tired because no sleep and I can't go to workout like that, it's like a cicle...

    The worse thing is I actually don't have any urge to fap, i just do it to sleep, i don't feel guilty later, just pissed on how unfair is that, tryed to read, watch tv, nothing... I can keep reading or marathoning a series, i wouldn't care if it wasn't because I have to work next day.

    Wathever, here I m, last day i just sleep 2 hours, and I can't sleep today...

    Sometimes I have the same problem. I guess you could brain-wash yourself into not thinking that Fapping and sleeping are correlated. Once you believe they have nothing to do with one and other, you can search for normal insomnia remedy. I don't know... might work. Brainwash yourself, say: "I don't need that sh* fot sleeping" Think about the next day and how productive you are going to be.
    Motivate yourself: "If you can beat insmonia without fapping, the next day you will be able to get anything done".

    Same here. Although on rare occasions when i sleep someplace else I've no problem. Try sleeping on another bed it may help out

    you need to relax through the day and observe your physical and mental state. Agitation might be a problem.

    I've had same problem and looked into this.
    Testosterone naturally rises during sleep (nofap or not). In fact mostly during REM which is peak time and declines before waking hours.
    Sperm retention causes above average testosterone. Low Estrogen can cause insomnia because blood sugar rises (obviously you're gonna be low if you're high in testosterone).

    So what this means is this: it's gonna naturally cause problems. You cant just 'get over it' or use some Jedi mind trick like some may suggest, this is a physiological thing beyond your control so you need to reassess and ask yourself 'why' do you want to nofap? Extra confidence? OK then...learn Qigong, tai chi, meditation and only nofap for every 10 days or whenever you cant sleep. Even that is gonna make a huge difference with confidence especially if there's no porn involved. Dont, whatever you do use medication.

    Also lack of sleep causes testosterone to lower so those hardcore Fapstronauts on 30 days or more will most likely experience this which means if you were to have more control over your sleep you'd probably end up with as much testo as they if you're a 10 day guy.
