I'm on day 85 and I still can't get an erection without pornography. I am way more attracted to women. However, I still haven't fully rebooted , I have been watching porn and masturbating for 8 years. Therefore, I guess it will take a long time but can any one tell me more-less when can I expect the full reboot?

  2. Reboot can vary. If you watch porn, edge, masturbates during your reboot it will take a much longer time to recover.

Best thing you can do is not PMO at all during your reboot, find other things to do, read up on recovery work and be patient.

Well, I feel no urge to watch porn, I feel really motivated and I enjoy all the benefits that noPMO provides on this exiting journey, I started to feel the real difference after the 60th day, the first two months of NoFap were ok, nothing exiting about them. However, after the 60th day I really started to feel like a different person, it feels awkward in a way as I am not recognising my old-self sometimes. In addition, I am also stating going to a gym and eat more healthy, this will definitely benefit me even more and make me feel more energetic and motivated.

Just out of curiosity, has any one got a timeline or some interesting stories they can share with me about the full reboot on how long it might take me to reach a full reboot, and what else can I discover on this journey.

  6. Do you get morning wood? Reassuring sign if you do. No worry if you don't but in that case you might consider getting professional help

Unfortunately I don't get morning wood, can't even remember the last time I had it, must of been ages ago. However, I started having wet dreams recently, is that a good sign?

  9. The most important thing to know about reboots: YMMV

    There's a lot about that at http://yourbrainonporn.com .

Guys who started their PMO from the beginning, while quite young, with streaming porn ("tube sites") - they can take a long time.

Here's some info I got for another post:

    https://www.yourbrainonporn.com/sta...y-reboot-erectile-dysfunction-taking-too-long

"If you are under 30 and started early on Internet porn, I strongly suggest you educate yourself on the differences between an adolescent brain and an adult brain. The difference is not simply quantity of experience, and learning the differences will help you understand why you (and those in your generation) were more vulnerable to developing porn-induced sexual dysfunctions than some older guys, who "set' their sexuality before they found streaming porn." - 03/01/2016

"As the ages went down between 2011 -2015, the length of flatlines increased, as did the length of recoveries.

We also started to see a few men 35-45 taking longer, because they had been using tube sites now for 8-10 years, rather than 1-2 years in 2007-08." - posted Jan 31, 2015

I think I read somewhere that Gary Wilson thinks super-long (as in 1 year +) reboots are the exception.

    Found it:

http://www.yourbrainrebalanced.com/...latline-i-hope-gary-agrees.33648/#post-527957 (This is specifically about flatlines, but also recovery)

    "
Only an infinitesimally small percentage of men who reboot continue to experience a long, uninterrupted flatline. The percentage of those men who attempt a reboot and who never recover from a flatline appears to be very very small.

The math: the major forums (YBR, RBN, Nofap.org, r/noffpa, r/porn free, YBOP) together have at least 100,000 visitors a day. Many millions per year. Out of these millions of men only a handful post to say that they have entered a very long flatline and feel unable to recover their from porn-induced sexual problem. These men were chronic porn users, and most are young men who used porn during adolescence.
    ....
Men were rebooting in 2006 on my wife's forum. YBOP came online in 2011, as did r/nofap. YBR in 2012. For many years only "older men" rebooted. Almost all did so for sexual problems. They did not experience long flatlines, and it only took 6-8 weeks to regain normal sexual functioning. Things started to change in 2012 when young men, who grew up on internet porn, started to reboot. Only then did we start to see extended recovery periods." posted Apr 8, 2016

    "
The common factor for long rebooters is almost always the age they started porn, especially high speed connections.

The other factor is sexual experience: The ratio of masturbation to porn vs masturbation to fantasy about real partners, or fooling around with real partners." - posted Feb 23, 2013
