Can pornography damage you beyond repair ?

What I mean by that is: Can you drown in the PMO cycle to such an extent that your porn-induced sexual malfunction becomes permanent, even if you quit? That your brain can never again be rewired to make you feel aroused for something different than porn?
Is this possible? Does it happen?

Brains are really flexible, so such extreme case more likely can't happen. Nevertheless, using porn a lot of years can change your brain for the rest of your life. What I want to say is that it can cause permanent damage, but not like you can't feel aroused by anything normal.

There is a thing called "neuroplasticity". As stolen from the internet:

So there you go. Yes, the brain will make new connections to accomplish that which you intend to accomplish. It's not like you have a severed spine where there is no path to the body parts it connects to. Barring any physical impairment of the brain, these connections can be rewired. How do you do that? Condition your brain to respond to good behavior instead of bad behavior by forcing yourself to make good choices in spite of your brain's propensity to make bad choices. The components of your brain are forever etched with the pornography. The newer connections will overlap and mask those connections such that they become increasingly difficult to access. Make sense?
