Can PA heal their minds?

I bloody hope so!

Seriously though the longer I go without porn the less lure it has for me and the fewer times I think about it. I do not expect to be ever free of the urges to watch porn completely (as a recovering addict it will always be a weak spot for me) but I have developed strategies to avoid the situations I know will be dangerous and each day, month, and year that I go without porn those pathways in my brain fade.

 

Today I am 558 days without porn. My longest streak since trying to stop was 654 days.

 

I do not think a PA could ever really heal or "leave it behind him", it will always be there dormant until it's not again. It's a vicious cycle of lies and games.
