I understand what you're saying about Nazism and Marxism
but in pursuit of becoming the world's richest nation as I've had to repeat over and over again, the US has started wars and killed millions of people too, many of which were innocent, to get land for oil for example just so that their corrupt capitalistic society can keep making more money.

 

Oh what the hell, I'll put in my two cents here. I think that the ideals that America originally claimed to be founded on, limited government, free-market economy, property rights, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, non-intervention in foreign affairs, republican government, all of those ideas are great. The problem is that over the last almost 250 years, these things have been steadily eroded and altered. So that there is now a very large discrepancy between America's ideals, and America's reality. Many people are angry and upset about this. The problem, as I think Pat Buchanan is suggesting, is that all of those ideals may be impossible to put in to practice going forward, if they ever even existed in practice in the past, because the opposing forces are too great. Not sure what the solution is

I don't believe in American exceptionalism. There is much that is not and hasn't been great about America, but there are some great things too. It's important to fight against the not-so-great things, while being thankful for the great things

Nobody is saying America is innocent, but it's a heck of a lot better than other places (in more ways than one). Don't be mad because we're the best...

 

LOL!!! you're not serious. America is not the best nation. The Scandinavian countries eat you guys for breakfast. Finland may not be as rich or as powerful as the US but it is cleaner, safer, has a better education system etc. and I'd rather that over America any day. I'm not saying where I'm from for privacy reasons but I'm not jealous of Americans.

 

Do you speak American English? America...BoooOOOoom. In case you don't understand...America is #1, American English is the #1 language in the world (many countries teach it as a second language (because we're #1)). Have you heard of Silicon Valley? Where do you think your computer was designed? How about the Internet? Who has the strongest military? Most advanced healthcare (not the best health, but advanced)? TESLA? SpaceX?

It really depends what you're measuring. But overall, America is definitely #1. The Scandinavian countries I believe pay way more in taxes than us.

You are right in saying that certain countries especially European countries don't have the freedoms they once had but America still has a lower rated educational system compared to other countries with lesser money and they have higher rates of violent crime compared to those same countries where people aren't allowed to have guns. With respect to globalists wanting to destroy the US, if anything the US and the globalists are working hand in hand, at least the US government anyway since they both have the same goals and objectives.

 

That's only because you guys kinda force your way of life on others yes countries tend to copy features of the American lifestyle but you guys have also made it so that learning English is the best way to get ahead in the modern world for non English speakers.

Nope, in terms of advancements in health, it's still America. Again I'm not saying our collective health is good, but our technology is the best.

I do agree with you that we're not perfect, but again, I would choose to be born in this country if I had to choose again. So much opportunity and freedom. Basically any democracy is a good thing.

USAF: 5,369 military aircraft, 406 ICBMs and 170 military satellites.
Isreali air force:684 aircraft
Us army: 1,347,106 active soldiers
Israeli army: 176,500 active personnel
Us navy: 430 ships 19 aircraft carriers
Israel: ~20
Us nukes: 4,018
Isreal: from 75 to as many as 400
Need I go on with Marines, vehicles, technology etc? Also Isreal typically buys our stuff.

 

But the US is a primarily white nation, yes it's diverse but isn't the white population the largest population?

I've spent extensive time in Scandinavia for my work. It sucks ass. Imagine a group of nations who have yet to figure out the "plumbing trap" to keep the horrid smell of feces from permeating your hotel room every day........And this was Norway, Sweden and Finland. (Ok, I haven't been to ALL of Scandinavia....)

This idea of Scandinavia being a great example of socialism "gone right" is a myth. Some very nice people, though.

And Rome didn't need to fall......at least not so "soon". (they had a darned good run) They struggled because they couldn't decide.....a senatorial republic.....or a monarchy with a single ruler. THIS is why I think the USA is on a brink. Our Congress no longer governs.....abdicating to the president.....
