Brothers, what do you do when you feel yourself slipping?

I try to just do something else to keep my mind off it. Read, pray, listen to music, etc. Hope this helps.

 

I try to talk to someone about it.

Try deep squats

 

Diverts blood to big muscles and away from the genitals, tires you out - a great strategy!

Pray. Go somewhere else.

When trying to root out a practice of sin, death & evil, it is powerful and effective to replace it with Love, Life & Goodness. We can never produce these things in ourselves so learn to abide with the One who gives you life. Even in the practice of removing evil, let it be Him to do the act of pruning.

You are the branch. He is the Tree & the Caretaker.

 

Be aware of the fact that on some level you may have unconsciously made the decision to sin before you're aware of it. At that point you could spend the next 10 minutes or hour going through an act that's just for your own benefit. If you're an adept liar, which as a porn addict I certainly feel like one, you can end up falling into your own trap of self-deceit and it works in the enemies favor to keep God from you. If you feel that pull, listen to these other guys as well, run away from your computer, leave the place where your old habits are indulged, pray and also do not let your mind linger on these things. Fight to not let your mind linger or go back and go back to the same thought.

How much time we spend in prayer with God affects us through the rest of the day, for not only does God answer prayer and bless us but our thoughts are then in him and not elsewhere. If you need to prayer for 3 hours a day to break this cycle then do it.
