Breaking the Shadows

This is the beginning. My story has been one of many trials and failures thus far. This time however, I'm going to try harder. Using the very tool (the internet) that caused me to become so enveloped with darkness I plan to take the steps to reverse the damage. I am thankful that NoFap exists. There is strength in numbers!

Relationships are precious and should not be viewed as primarily physical. I've made this mistake too and it was turning my girlfriend against me. This must change. So, here I am breaking shadows.

 

Thank you Jerry120. I am 25 years old and was first introduced to sex and sexuality through the internet at the age of 9. Ever since that time at an early age I've struggled with internet pornography addiction. That being said this is a long lasting and deep seeded issue for me. I've had many ups and downs with it, but a little over a year ago I came to the realization that this addiction was controlling my entire life. My senses where numb, it was never enough, I was in a dark place. Upon that realization I decided to make a change, to end this long term addiction. I started therapy sessions and for a time they worked so I stopped going. I held out for a while like this but eventually slipped up again and simply said "screw it" then fell back into my old ways. Now I believe that NoFap will give me the encouragement I need to be successful in completely ending my desires for any simulated sexuality because it's filled with others that are fighting the same battle.
