Blocking porn In Android mobile?

Qustodio works well for Android. It's mostly for parents with kids, but has decent filtering.

Get an iPhone, friend. There truly is no way with an Android. It is way too easy simply to bypass and even easier just to reset even if you can't bypass. iPhone, on the other hand, needs iTunes to reset and restrictions are pretty airtight, even working on in-app browsers (you can also restrict changes to your account so you can't use Find My iPhone to reset)

 

My dear friends, just install quastodio and give your account to your brother/sister/grilfriend and than tell me how are you going to bypass that

 

Uninstall all other browsers and install "spin browser". It's impossible look at porn in this way.

Then block play store with appblock and your life is saved.

 

In my opinion a filter should be like a safety belt - anyone can get around any filters if you want to. You need to change the way you think, you can't really rely on filters.

You can simply reset he phone by looking up the model online and pressing external keys (like the power and sound keys) to reset the phone. It really is too easy.

This may work for you. If so, great. But this depends on the severity of the addiction. Some people need stronger barriers because the urges are simply too strong. Eventuall, yes, you need to get to the point where you can resist yourself, but in the short run do what you have to do to prevent relapse

 

Unfortunately you can't remove the default Samsung browser on the Note. Qustodio comes in handy for this as you can restrict access to that browser.

 

What's the "app lock" feature? So far nothing has disabled the default Samsung browser on Android. Can't delete it either.

 

I just turn off my Wi-Fi, my Mobile Internet, and just use it as a media player/dumb phone. That's just me though, and I guess sometimes the internet is important.

What's more important to me is keeping away from Porn, so I make that sacrifice.. It makes it hard to contact my friends sometimes though LOL, that's always fun.

Im on Android, I use the Boomerange blocker in conjunction with the Spin browser. Its $10 a year and worth it.. it has timers so i can turn off all web access at night when im more vonurable, and i have aps like youtube, facebook etc set to turn off 10pm, and instagram 8pm. If i need to block a website or an ap or make any changes I can just text my accountability partner and he has the password and he can do it from his phone. I also blocked the ap store too. It works great.

 

We just installed SPIN. I never knew about it before this post. Lifesaver!!!! It disables ALL other browsers, including the stock browser that can't be deleted.
