Does anybody have the same problem as me? or do you guys know someone like me. i lost a lot of money from betting. i bet mainly on football(soccer) games, also ufc and boxing matches. even basketball, baseball or other sports which i dont watch. if i lose a bet, i get frustrated and want to do the next bet as fast as possible.... i know its dumb, but i cant control it anymore.

im depressive. and when im sad or when i have problems with family or in the work. i get more frustrated and i bet a lot money on sport events.

betting is like relaxing for me. imcan shut down and forget everything. the only thing i carr in this moment is, will i win this bet

Betting is a system where the player always loses. I should suggest to stop doing it and find a healthy substitute. Perhaps playing sport to put your energy in. Maybe easier said than done but you gotta realize that this habit is destructive. Both mentally and financially

Betting is a lose-lose situation because there is no victory flag that you can capture, there are no stopping clues. Example: if you finished reading a book, your happy and feel productive. You are proud of yourself. If you are betting, there is no end. Like PMO, it is a destructive dopamine habit that can destroy your life. Try to get motivation about how you have beaten PMO, and think about how you can create this same feeling with trying to stop betting.

  5. I know how this is because I might be a gambling addict also. I think this might be a problem because of such a weird incident that happened to me at a casino.

I was playing electronic blackjack. About 10 hands in or so, I started to zone out. It was like I was spacing out, except it was the afternoon, I was conscious, and I was sober.

Where did I go for about 10 minutes? I had no idea. But still, my hand reflex continued to hit buttons. Hit, stand, double, split, whatever, I just don't know where I was.

Then I snapped out of it. Most of my money in the machine was gone. After that day, I sharply decreased my gambling.

    It is scary, it's addictive.

My suggestion is that when you get an urge to gamble, no matter what, decide not to do it.

It is painful. It feels like the world is ending to use this kind of self-restraint. Also, a 12-step program like AA is effective. But you can't go on like this. You'll be ruined in more ways than just financially.

And if it hurts to quit, usually the pain is an indication that you are doing something good.

People, the best way to make a bet is to bet in a win-win situation, for example, on the very same betting site where you have all the trump cards up your sleeve, such as detailed statistics, analysis of matches, and an ideal submarine of the closest games that you can put your money.

  8. I haven't gambled since 2017. It's fun to bet at the racetrack, watching the horses.

Yes, betting addiction is achieving the same dependent need of dopamine hit to the brain - as does PMO, drinking, drugs, overeating, chronic impulse shopping, and other addictions. Are you stacking up two, three, or more of these addictions? They're all quite reckless, and betting is also devastating on finances. Also, the number one cause of relationship problems is, in fact, money.

  12. Totally true. I don't totally avoid gambling. The difference is that I bet small. I'm not trying to make money out of it. I don't care. I'm just there to be doing something. I never play the lottery or scratch offs for that reason.

That is where the gambler makes a serious mistake. They decide to go big and try to make a big fortune out of it. It will never happen.

Of course, if everybody bet small, a lot of casinos would close down. That's their problem.

It is possible to get rid of gambling addiction. It is not something terrible that you are gambling. Many people are making money on it, and they are enjoying the process of gambling, but they have some golden rules they are following. For example, it is essential to learn where you need to stop. When you notice that you are continuously losing money, you might try your luck the next day or after some hours. It will help you get rid of the feeling of the loser and be more productive and think better while playing in online casinos.

Gambling is exciting but I had to stop because I know that I cant simply do it for fun, I lack self-control, I just don't know when to stop or walk away. I think it is something that you need to avoid, time can be invested in learning and socializing.

I'm new here and I wanna add that while gambling can be a fun and entertaining pastime for some people, it's important to recognize when it has become a problem and is causing harm. Seeking help and making positive changes is always possible, no matter how long you've been struggling with addiction.
If you still want to try gambling, you should check out safe spaces like judi online. They allow you to win pretty good money online without betting too much and losing too much money. Anyways, thank you for bringing up this important issue, and I hope that anyone who is struggling with gambling addiction can find the help and support they need to overcome it.
