The Scriptures provide authority, and an insight into the hierarchical nature of reality. There is something like a Great Chain of Being that extends from the heavens to the earth. This is why the man is considered the head of the household. It is only modern ideology with its obsession with freedom that has a problem with this. Order always trumps freedom... and makes any real freedoms we may have possible.

Ideology is anti-culture and only leads to the collapse of all authority and anarchy in the end. Choose your poison, we either have a cultural authority or a political/ technological one that will become increasingly harsh. As Christ said, 'My yoke is light'.

 

It's a very sad thing to me when somebody is forced into a believe (caused by their education...) and they even aren't able to explain why and what they believe.
I feel really sorry for these people, because I know there is a lot of anxiety in them. Especially the "hell and doom preaching" has damaged so many people.
Because these people just can't get rid of their believe because of their fear, they just continue "sharing" their believe. In the meanwhile they can't show any love because they are bond by fear.

I know all about anxiety in my life, I know that 's just horrible. I was totally bond by fear in the past
I fought that for years. The one and only place where I 've got rid of my fears are by the cross. By Jesus Christ.

On so many places in the bible he is helping us, encouraging us.
Don't be afraid, I 'll with you with my strength and love.
Fear not, because I am with you.
In true love is no fear.

You should really do some study about anxiety buddy. I bet the more you read what God Himself is telling about anxiety, the more the lies you are told in your life will disappear.

Yes It's quiet odd. God is telling that in true love is no fear. Why in the world should He wants you to be afraid of Him?

In true love there is fear. You are afraid of loosing the one you love or disapointing him/her.
Fear is healthy to a certain level. Fear and hope should go side by side.

Fearing God's punishment and hoping for his mercy should be our goal.

How many people cheat on their partner who actually do love their partner.. yet they have null fear of losing her/him.
How many people don't love their partner yet don't cheat on him/her because they fear the loss of their partner

But only in Gods love there is no fear.
And in Gods love there is no fear for punishment.

 

So imagine, your parents sacraficed their time, money and many other things to make sure you get the best. I don't know if you have a kid, but believe me it ain't easy. You get all the love they can give you, all the care and they fancy you with all these beautiful things.

After growing up and reaching the age of a adult you meet a lovely women. Now your parents have reached a old age. You decide to marry this woman and you are at your best to this women. Meanwhile your parents call you and ask for you but you have no time. Not only this, you even ignore them and deny the fact that they are you parents. You deny the fact that they brought you up and deny every piece of evidence. You deny their love, their caring for you, you deny every single thing. You mock them, threatens them and tell them how much you hate them. But you are at your kind, just and very gentle to your lovely women.

This is a small example of God, you and this world. This man is you, the lovely lady is this world and consider the parents as God. I said consider because God can't be compared to human in any sense. He is way above that. He is God, The One, above what they falsely attributes him, He is nothing like Human. Most important, He is independent, He doesn't need to be worshipped, He was The Praisworthy when there was no one and He will be The Praisworthy when there is no one. He is free of any limit, shortcoming or defect.

This is the example of someone who denies God but is still good to the people. How injust is he?

 

God's fear is different then that of fearing men.

If you fear someone, the fear wil distance you from this person. It affects your relationship in such a way.
When you fear God, it draws you closer to God. Fear is a very important emotion in the relationship of God. Especially knowing God and his attributes should make your more fearful of His position. That fear wil draw you to closer to Him because there is no one who can protect you against God except God.
