Anyone experienced to break freem from mobile phone addiction?

    The title said it

    Back then there was a chaos happen in capital city of my country and goverment decided to shut facebook, instagram, whatss app so the news wont spread....

    The thing is during the time of shut down i realy realy feel stressed out and feel so lonely even tho i have real ppl around me,,, its like i cant live with mobile phone


    I tried to lessen the use of it by deleting apps (except watss app) but still will re download again and binge for almost 6 hours a day

    I just cant control it and i cant switch to dumb phone since 80% of my works including whatss app,...Anyone have sugestion or apps for case like this?

    I deleted facebook, instagram, and tinder from my phone this weekend.

    My problem and reason for being here isn't porn as such, it's sexting. Perusing women online and sexting makes me want to fap.

    Removing them this weekend has left me feeling lost, but i got a lot done and i think it's a really good idea for anyone to do during nofap. It drives you to create a better healthier life. I'm now having to get in touch with real friends and arrange to see them to find out what they have been up to which will undoubtedly improve life :)

    If i were you, i would start by turning the phone off in the evening, and putting it somewhere out of site, then plan a few things to do that evening (even cleaning or some chores)

    I like that and I fully fully agree! I have the phone on "Do not disturb" after 6pm and usually always sits in the same place in the house, never in the bedroom. Creating an evening routine, structuring the time, will help alleviate feelings of loneliness and will give a sense of accomplishment, especially when doing house chores.

    Agreed, structuring the time is important, and write some list of things you need to do. Ticking them off helps! Then think "once i've done this i'm going to watch a film"

    @hollyman Phone addiction is real, and scary! it's really worth the effort to break it! you'll have a better life for sorting it out :)

    Yeps its takin my life away like im 100% not doin anything beside binge on my.phone amd my sleep habbit is awfull damn awfull and ofc sooner or latter it will drive me back to porn

    Already deleting my social apps and start listing what to do list to

    And I will try then the no distrub at 6 pm also the house chores thank you hope its works TT

    that sounds crazy, what country was this?

    some ideas that have helped me:
    • find friends who dont use the phone / arent as addicted (I try not to hang out with people who are ALWAYS on the phone, or I ask them to stop around me)
    • find a phone substitute. I use portable DVD players now because they are very cheap and dont have wifi so no addiction urge
    • educate on phone addiction. There are some GREAT Ted talks on this. I really like the one called "quit social media" on youtube.
    • find hobbies to replace the addiction. youll notice you will have a lot more free time ! a blessing of course, but can feel like a curse sometimes.
    • READ! books are great for quitting phone addiction :)

    its Indonesia and its happen arround 22 may 2019, the ban itself until 24 May if im not mistaken

    so many story that untold and covered by media i guess, i mean do you know what happen to Uyghur ? its 2019 holocaust

    back to the problem

    1. i was doin this and im ashamed my self for the only one who keep the phone in my hand while other didnt
    2. this i didn have yet
    3. yeps already watch that Ted Talks, Robert D Avila the thing is i cant 100% get away from smart phone because i need whats app for my job so its kinda hard to not open the watss app notification right away

    no 4-5 i will try it right away :)

    My smart phone fell outta my pocket when I was riding a roller coaster and that was the best thing to ever happen to my life, now I got a tiny flip phone from the early 2000s, I never liked social media so I didnt have no problem downgrading my phone. fack these smart phones, Its turning people into zombies

    Are you required to be on call for work? I show up at an office so actually have it on airplane mode a lot.

    nope its not call its watss app,,my office is like wall mart office and my job desk include helping store employee

    Today i have 50++ chats need to reply and thats personal chat not to mention group chats,,, tomorow be like i assume 100 ++ chats cause today im takon day off at my office and tommorow i be back


    The only way i think that can helped me is to quot my job, but its kinda scary for ke as im 27 already

    its freakin more downgrading than a zombie i loose all my activity, my collagues work , my family time even my eat time

    And today i do some tips from ppl who reply, im sittin while eat and look at the sky with phone on my room, but guess what booom the watss app chat was overload, my boss callin its a messy zombie day tbh
