I am personally sick and tired of turning on the tv and whether it’s the news, a movie, a variety show, a talk show, or even a simple brainless comedy, It has become a platform for some group movement...it’s bullying, it’s LBGTQ equality, it’s sexual harassment, it’s equal pay, it’s Me Too, it’s racial byass. I watched America’s Got Talent last night and every act had to have some tragic event and even if the act completely sucked, the whole audience (just like in real life) has to play follow the leader and give a standing ovation because not doing so will label u a racist, or a bigot, or a gay badger, or a bully.....

Can someone please explain to me how shaming people who may not agree with the gay community, labeling people as racialist if they don’t agree with something a minority does, or calling a person (and all the people who associate with that person) a predator who may not agree with the ever changing looseness of the definition of what “harassment” is...helps the world become less hostile??

For a general example the Starbucks racial issue..

Do u really believe 2 black men being asked to leave a Starbucks because the employees believed they were loitering was a world news story?
    Answer: No!

    What purpose did it serve?
Answer: It gave the news media ratings, it made a mountain out of a mole hill, it probably got the employees involved fired and harrassed, it set off and put in motion “sensitivity training” costing Starbucks millions of dollars in a program that both sides understand is mainly damage control of public image and will end with people getting millions of dollars from a lawsuit they had no business getting empowering others to do the same and angering those on the other side who can’t even move a muscle wrong in fear of being fired, disgraced, harrassed, and sued..

All of these things have NOTHING TO DO WITH EQUALITY! IT NEVER HAS. It’s always about if I can get ahead socially or financially by pushing people down I am going to do it. It is “my life sucks” and if the easiest path to change that is jump on board the white people, men, or heterosexuals have had power to long and it’s my turn bandwagon gets me in a better place then I’m gonna do it. Because the best way to obviously solve a problem with a group of people being told to shut u and sit down and not make waves is to tell the other side that they need to shut up sit down and not make waves!

Personally-I would much rather live in a society where everyone felt they could freely verbally express how they feel without fear of consequence so I could have a chance at an own and peaceful dialog to have a debate rather then to walk around assuming that because one side isn’t speaking out they must be agreeing with me. Critical opionions on what people think of me would help me grow faster and better then 99 out of 100 thinking I’m wrong or I suck but stand and applaud anyway because of fear of what could happen to them if they didn’t
