Hey everyone, I'm in highschool and somethings been bothering me the past few months. I have many friends and I am extremely grateful for that. As almost all the guys my age, most of my friends are guys, but I do hang out with girls often. What bothers me is that more and more of my friends are having their first sexual relation, and I'm having a difficult time getting myself a girlfriend. In fact, I don't really know how I should act. I know that losing your virginity is not a contest of who does it first, but since I haven't been in a relation for many years, I'm afraid of being ashamed of it. I am also confused because I asked a girl out last year and she said no even though she said she wanted to a few weeks before. I don't really know what to do and I hope that nofap can help me, among other things, in resolving this problem or at least this anxiety that I can feel growing.

  2. I know it will be difficult, but try not to get pulled into peer pressure. Just because someone is doing something doesnt mean that you should do the same.
If you fancy someone give it a shot. Do it when you want to and/or when you are comfortable with it.
Do try not to get pressured by your peers.

Your friends that are fornicating are sinning against God. Don't worry about what they are doing. Pray for God to send the right person, get the PMO out of your life and wait on Him.

Keep it simple. Go after a girl you like/attracted to. Don't worry about sex, it will come naturally. Just take small steps, go out with her, then kiss her and things will happen. Don't stress too much about the sex part, just the attraction part.

  5. See, you are just 16, I am not able to judge you but...you can lose your virginity at any time. I think this is not the mature time to have sex. Focus on your life and try to find solitude, everything will fall in place. don't bother what people think of you. If you can learn to control your desire , you will have huge self control. The whole life is left for that. And remember nofap alone will not fix everything you want. It will help you a lot . don't keep your expectation that high. Your expectation can ruin your rebooting. GOD BLESS YOU . Best wishes to you from a elder brother.

A huge thanks for the answers, it's great to be able to talk about something like that. I think that I do in fact put myself under too much pressure and should just keep things simple. I do think that nofap will help concerning the pressure many people put themselves under, because porn is corrupting many people's minds. It's not always easy to try and not care about how other people judge you , but I think that in many cases it is the best thing to do.

You are right. I do indeed know many people, some of them are my friends, who do have a sexual relation with a person that they do not particularly love, just for the carnal short-term pleasure, and I think that it is fundamentaly wrong. Today, In my school and in the country I live in, young teen agers are almost incuraged by society and the educational system to watch porn and have sex at a very young age. Sadly, religion has left many people's lives and has been strongly criticised, but in the end it brings us the true right moral and values that many people need today.

Sex is super overrated. It feels good, but it's not some magical experience. Just work on finding a girl and if it doesn't work out it's nbd. You've got the rest of your life after high school to fuck around.
