An unexpected noPMO benefit?

Discussion in 'Porn Addiction' started by FutureDoctor, Jan 13, 2018.

  1. Hello fapstronauts, I just wanted to tell you about something incredible I just experienced.
I have never had good physical abilities, I usually lack stamina and reflexes but I grew used to that and I ended telling myself that I just was not made for sports. Plus my studies are now taking a loooot of my time so I really had no time to practice any sport. But still, the second college semester just began for me and since it is said to be a bit easier than the first one, me and my friends decided to start doing sports again. So I ended up going for a run and I don't really know what happened but I, who is usually dying after half an hour of running, was able to run for more than a hour and to recover in just a few minutes after that, plus running really made me feel incredibly good.
I really don't know how I gained stamina since I had not run for a few months but I think that maybe there is a link to me quitting PMO for more than a month now, and I am pretty much obliged to think that cause I really can't figure out any other logical explanation.
Maybe some of you experienced something like that too but if you have not, I can assure you that it is really quite something, I actually never thought that I would one day felt a true joy about running!

That is really good and motivating.

I also hope to attain more energy to increase my workouts.

I am also experiencing some additional physical strength, I started doing small workout every day. I think it is partially due to extra energy I used to spend on fantasizing, watching porn, and masturbating, but also I started to eat more (I was underweight for most of my life) and follow a sleeping schedule. So, it's not just NoFap, but I think that in general, I improved my physical well-being.

  4. congratulations on your month+ of being pmo free!
great to hear that your experiencing some improved endurance.

ive also felt this. last summer i had a goal of 100 miles on
the road bike. didnt quite get there but did hit 85
which i was happy with, especially since i hadnt been
riding much the last few yrs.

    100% Agree,

My lift's in the gym go way up when I take a nice long break from PMO.

I hit 4 plate deadlift at 30 years old for the first time in my life, in and around doing a 17 and 18 day streak within 2 weeks of eachother.

Been a fitness fanatic all my life, personal trainer, athlete, etc..

No PMO I can say feels like another gear can be achieved with your physical body.

Keep up the great work brother!!
