Hello, i've started NoFap on February 1 2018, my main goal was to get away from sin and to feel less dirty.
I did a big research on this topic and i found that nofap had a lot of benefits and i got so motivated and i decided to start it.
You probably are expecting some sucess story talking about how i had sex and a girlfriend, money etc with nofap.. It's not the case.

I have a lot of family problems and i have no real life friends to hang out with, i've faced school problems since my young age and i still do sometimes, life is never been easy to me, but that's how i like it, hard. Struggling everyday to do something better and that makes others feel good, you can't write a success story talking about how you got a girlfriend or a good job, if you never explain how did you got through your problems, and there is no rational thinking on doing NoFap to get a girlfriend, i agree that it will be easier to get close to girls when you lose some social anxiety but, girls are not objects, they all have a value and you should respect it, so stop acting like you want to get in contact with every cute girl you see.

I feel proud with this achievement, i watched some porn through this journey, but my main goal was abstaining totally from masturbation.
It was hard, i almost relapsed 3 times, but you need to be very strong and patient to achieve your goals.
I had faced depression, social anxiety, bipolar disorder and many other stuff.
I still have those problems, but i look at them in a different prespective.

Never give up, life is hard and that's how it should be, you cannot feel proud of accomplishing something easy, so just keep in mind, You can do it.
it will be hard? YES. It will, but you only deserve to do this if you struggle and fight till you get it.

Feel free to ask me something.

    I will be updating this

  2. Congratz very much. I like your honesty.

I made a total life shifts, started like 1-2 years ago, and had some relapses in the mean time, but the general tendency of my life is upwards luckily.

My life is so much better now than a few years back, its almost no comparison. I was impulsive, addicted, no good sense of self, no direction etc etc.

At the moment i also dont have a GF and no friends, which im not happy or proud about, but its the way it is, because of my past years, this is what came from it.

But yeah, i feel like, i have to accept fate, make the best of it, and just do the good, right things.

Life is not 1 big party, but i'm very appreciative i have come to know what is the right way, and fight for it.

Keep going the right way bro, keep it rocking, and have a good day

Great post bro! Loved reading your honesty, and especially about how you place value on women instead of looking at them like the porn industry does.

I just watched this YouTube video which helped keep me motivated to reach my day 6 (it's been really hard to get this far for me, but I am going to keep trying):

Keep at it dude! You have inspired me! =)

I have been feeling the same feelings you've described in the sense of having life hard. I realized that it's hard for a reason. The guys who have it easy are never going to have the same fire in your stomach to succeed. They will only go as far as they think they can and then plateau. I realized that the hardest thing for me to do is the best thing for me to do but I don't want to do most of the time. Nofap 90 day reboot will give me time to think and the energy needed to face my problems. I'm 20 years old and I'm working full time on changing my life to what it can be realistically. I may not have the dream lifestyle just yet, but in due time I will because I can harness my energy to put into doing things that bring me success instead of PMO'ing it down the drain. Which keep in mind, 99.9% of guys don't ever get to quit, because they are unaware that it is a problem.

I do confess that attracting women was one of my main reasons for quitting PMO. But I found out more benefits as well 30 days later and having women in my life is no longer the main goal, just a bonus. It is natural that we love women and that we desire them as well. We must also remember that women love sex too but they are not going to give it to a guy that treats them like a number, who seems needy or a player.

I feel the same way at 43 years old. After 34 days of no PMO I feel better than I did a long time ago. You do this life change and you will be completely transformed.

I also watched the video on my first day, the day I joined in Nofap. Gary Wilson wrote the book "Your brain on porn" which is also good.
