Alcohol/Drug Induced morning wood

I've been nearly six months now no p and m. As a result of this lifestyle change I really cracked down on other activities in my life too like smoking, drinking and partying. Even cooled off on smoking weed too. Thing is, this month I went to a bachelor party in Miami and another one coming up out of the country at the end of the month. After the first night out over the weekend I woke up with the best morning wood that I have had in a long long time. Longer than I can remember. The same occurred today. The one thing of note that's different is the amount of alcohol that I consumed.

So does this mean that alcohol is helping? I should drink more? The side problem with that is the urges are very high. It's almost to the point of not caring about my progrss and just M without porn. I'm holding off for now. But i was impressed by my erection.

Anyone else experience something similar? My fear now is really about the last week when I go out of the country. I dont know if I'll resist the temptation to do drugs out there and I have a feeling the next morning when I'm not "high" or "drunk" anymore that I will be feeling the same way I do now, but that I most likely will take care of the situation by masturbating at the very least.

 

Yes thanks. I did resist the urge to masturbate after last weekend so that is good. I think the problem for me comes from group think mentality when I'm surrounded by a larger group. I bought my ticket already but I'm hoping I show self control on my next trip.
