On a thirty day run of no P. About to move into own room out of family home and hoping for some advice of a technical nature. I am getting a new phone from work this week and looking for advice on a really good way of blocking access to keep the temptation away and at least to make me think before acting. I will download the nofap app on the phone which has already helped so far but I worry that the potential isolation and lonliness will increase the risk although I do feel more determined than ever. Anyway any really good content blockers out there that cover all types of browsers on phones? I need to keep it for family contact and work as with the laptop so getting rid is not an option. I dont view this as a substitute for will power and new activities just wondering if there is any aids out there. Thanks

I would say the restrictions that can be enabled on any phone are a good starting point. The accountability or safe search browsers are terrible and crash frequently, and seem to be a scam due to their poor quality for a paid service. It won’t stop you from Downloading apps or using apps for psub use, but hopefully it is enough that your willpower can over come the desperation of the call for P. If you don’t have someone you can trust to talk to and set the password for your browser restrictions there are online tools you can use that can store the password and send it to you at a later date. I wouldn’t completely set a password you’ll forget that will permanently lock you out, as I have found a lot of the resources for recovery and educating oneself on P use and its effects will be blocked by turning on restrictions. This way you can save up all those urls you should be using and have either your trusted friend add them in the future, or you can use the password sent to you say a week later to add them and set a new one, and repeat the process.
Congratulations on hitting the 30 day mark. The hardest part is certainly behind you, keep up the fight for any urges. Here’s hoping 2018 is P free, safe, and prosperous for you!
