Addiction nearly 10 yrs, 24 y/o now, I need help!

    hello I'm a 24y/o male from Hong Kong.
    For nearly 10 yrs of pmo addiction, I found out that I feel like im out of control.
    When I do NPMO, I feel really horny.
    Is it normal to be horny always as a male?

    I just...don't like that. I just hope that I'm not horny in the rest of my life so I can be focus. The horny-ness is so annoying.

    Any time efficient suggestions for everyday jump-start to be focus on work/plan/project also for killing the horny-ness immediately?
     
  2. Hello @abcsuper111! Welcome to NoFap. Being horny is the brain's response to sexual arousal. In modern days, there is sooooo much on tv, electronics, billboards, etc. that is meant to sexually arouse people in order to get them addicted to whatever it is the business is trying to sell. But, in spite of all of it, we can discipline ourselves to look away from things, quit listening to things, and stay away from things that causes us to be horny. But after all this, we'll still be horny when our thoughts dwell on things that used to sexually arouse us in the past.
    I recommend trying out the challenges in the challenge forum. You might want to start with a small challenge, preferably the 3 day challenge, but it's up to you. Try coming back to NoFap everyday talk to others about you're going through. I had to reset a day ago, but am determined to keep going on. Let's do this! :)
     
  3. thats okay buddy , many people undergo that phase in life , i believe sexual desire is strongest of all other desires , u can spend hours together watching porn , and without even getting board , same porn can make you horny any number of times, in this way the male brain has been designed, but u need to shift the time and energy to some productive work rather than just watching porn and masturbating , i personally advice people to join gym or start running long distance, that way you get tired and its good for body as well and during and u will feel sleepy post dinner and also get a sound sleep , and your urges to watch porn will be very low and u will feel less horny ... hope it helps my friend from hong kong, i am from 2nd most populous country of world ;)

    Thank you! As I want to do this seriously, for sure it will be hard to go hardcore right away. But right now I'm allowing myself to have P and M, but no O. At least I think it is the first step for me to retent my life force. So I guess I'm down to some No O challenge.

    ty but damn I just relapsed. Feels like I don't even know why! But I'm thinking that I MUST go hardcore if I want to go 90 days. Damn it, Fails a lot.
     
  7. No worries. There are some challenges in the challenge forum if you would like to keep up with your daily progress. Pick yourself back up and go again.

    Thank you! I'm committed to challenge 90 days NPMO! I found out that, of course most of us know, but, P and M leads to O which is a HUGE energy drain. And could say it as "damaging" our body. I just want to be active in this forum for me to support myself through 90 days.

    btw I did do record on google sheet, and actually it was my 58th failure...I want to stop this

    Also may I know that where can I post daily log for my npmo record? Need a link please, I would like to record my status daily for my npmo journey.

You can create a daily journal in the forum "Rebooting" or in the forum "20-24 years old", or you can join one of the challenges in the challenge forum and post daily your progress. 4 days ago, I joined the 3 day challenge and posted kept track of my progress through it, and now I'm in the 7 day challenge.

    Its not about days, its about where am i in recovery from addiction, i am on day 17 becouse my mind was tricking me like "there is nothing wrong if you M once in 2 weeks, or once in month" ive learned my mind tricks and this time i am not listening to it and im going fully 90 Days :)
