So guys, until now 40% of you consider themselves an addict and 60% a person (just males until now). Is this something that should be regarded as an issue? What is your opinion?

I'm gender fluid so I don't see a option for myself in this survey.
Also, I see myself as a addict in recovery.
    Although not porn.
I will always see myself as addict in recovery, although not a current addict.
I've been clean 17 years... I don't see that option either.
I'd love to participate, but you need more choices

    Cheers!
    :)

Tell me more ☺ What other choices do i need to put there?

    What does mean gender fluid?

For me addictiv behaviour and person are 2 different concepts. As a person i am conscious about about the phenomena of addiction of PMO. But, to use one of your concepts, i have to be fluid and consistent with me present state. So i can say that sometimes i manifest the addictiv behaviour and sometimes not, but allways i'll define myself as a person. Addiction is a manifestation that is pathological noy only im a formal psychiatric way but in a personal way as well. If i feel that i manifest a behaviour for to many times in a period of time and this causes me suffering than i can define this as an addiction.

I wait for your answers please

By the personal way, I suppose I should click 'addict'
    &
Though I am a woman, physically, I consider myself to be both man and woman mentally.
I suppose another way to say it would be, if my brain chose my sex, I'd be both.

I agree that the way you percieve yourself defines you in a very important way. Nevertheless, you have all you need to become pregnant. A man wouldn't be able to go through such an experience with all his will power or self perception. I my opinion you can tick woman in my survey ☺ Regarding you perception i agree with you. I see myself as well having male and female traits despite of the fact i'm a male by physiology. This is a very good common ground wich allows us to be more empathic towards eachother.

In the end if you perceive as an addict, please tick that box and help me with this.

P.S. I think this is the begining of a beautiful friendship, as we males say!

My SO is identifies himself as a female although he is male by anatomy.
    So there is that.
But we are both addicts at the end of the day, so I'll check that.

    And yes, friends.

I'm curious why would you consider an addict though it passed 2 years since you stoped watching porn and masturbating? Why behaviour doesn't matter for you perception? I so so curious

A addict is always a addict. Just a addict in recovery.
And less answers might make it easier for you to have a concise and short conclusion.

I'll forge my opinion in a wider answer sometime in the near future. I'll write about Addic-tion concept as a prestage on the process of undurstanding a Condi-tion. Also the holding of this concept, addiction, as a descriptiv one for the whole process of becoming and broadening ourselves, might be similar with a disbelive in change and in the fluidity of the mind and its referential procesess. You believe you have male and female traits. Whay not having an addictive and a versatile sides too?

The disscution i think is quite long and very interesting. Please don't quit on me and just ignore me. I really want you to create your argument and make me see the way you see or at least to accept it easier than now, please. I'm really honest and interrsted in this disscution.

    Who said I was quiting?
However, if there was just a question that you asked... I think I missed it.

My question was: as long as you quit porn and masturbarion for the last 2 years ( i have the impression that i've read this on one of your posts) why would you still call yourself an addict? But since you say you didn't stop my question lost its content. :)

    I'm a recovered drug addict.
    17 years.
I stopped pm because of my SO.
I do his Reboot with him for support.
I used to just use P and do m for recreational reasons... Or within the relationship.
See Boundaries conversation in Reboot in Relationships for details there.
And yes, 2 years on PM free for me about.

Wow Jolie! You suddenly become so much more in my eyes! I'm so happy that you've been able to recover from drogs! Really so happy! :) I send you a huge hug and i'm proud talking with someone that had the guts to overcome the drogs enchantment!
