About wet dreams

Yes, I get that lol but I rationalize to myself a reason to watch porn again. I have tried enjoying them more when I do quit because that is like the only time I get the great feeling but then unintentionally I don't find it very fulfilling because I am not in a state to enjoy the situation that is happening in my head. It's weird, I don't think any of my wet dreams ever involve penetration either. Maybe for fear of impregnating lol. I wish I could finish completely without interrupting the great dream I am having! haha

 

Yeah, I could see that. You have to be careful because your mind will try to trick you back into porn in all sorts of clever ways as I've discovered. I've never had an actual 'wet' dream, but in the sex dreams I had near the end of my twenty day streak, they all involved penetration and they were all amazing, which is interesting since I'm a virgin and have no way to know what that's even like . I know where you're coming from though, I never got to finish and it was annoying because then I just felt really worked up and disappointed when I woke up .

 

Yeah, there were a couple of dreams where I woke up and couldn't get the scene out of my head so it started my day immediately with an urge. And in the past, the urges that last all day I would give up on because I felt like it was better to just get rid of the feeling and start over. This is the only time it has been different. But it's just beginning so I am on guard!

 

So after 18 days of NoFap I had a wet dream, I am sooo pissed!!

Before going to bed I was reveling in how great a day I had and it was the best one yet. Even before bed I meditated on success and what tomorrow was going to be like. Then at 4AM woke up and had clean up. Uggghhhh

Yeah, having a wet dream is never grounds to reset your counter, unless you did something to intentionally induce it. Some people are capable of lucid dreaming so that becomes a different situation. Have you had a wet dream before? What was it like for you?

 

Lol funny question. Spoiler alert!! Yes, but first time in this reboot and didnt see it coming at all. Basically, there was girl and she was just laying against me as we watched tv, she wouldnt allow us to do anything more. Then she was about to leave forever so she jumped on me before leaving and straddled me where we started grinding. No penetration but the feeling was like that of the last girl I slept with without protection so it was very nice. Which gave me the wet dream which was not so nice. As soon as it got to that point I realized what was happening and knew I couldnt stop it so I just let it happen. The orgasm wasnt as good as the feeling in the dream for sure. I am upset that all that hard work went to waste but i wont let it cause me to relapse.

 

It sounds like it was pretty enjoyable up until the end lol. That was the problem the last time I had a dream like that at around twenty days is I didn't just let it happen because I was dreaming about PMO, and I was afraid I was about to relapse, so I forced myself to stop. I wish I hadn't done that. I ended up relapsing that next day anyway. I haven't made it back to a streak like that since. All I can say is, whatever you do, do not relapse! And all the hard work didn't go to waste, it might seem like it right now, but within a few days you should actually be right back to where you were. The effects from a wet dream don't usually last very long from what I've heard.

My dream was sooo vivid last night and long, it was joyful. Update after my last wet dream. The day after is very hard to stay no PMO. I considered it many times! But I told myself it would be over soon and by the next day it was pretty much back to normal. It doesn't feel as good as having a full load though, let me tell you!

 

I'm glad to see you made it through the worst of it after that wet dream. I look forward to my first wet dream, but beyond that I would imagine it would just kind of be okay. I can imagine that not having a full load must feel a little off after almost twenty days of abstinence! I kind of feel like that has to feel relieving to some extent though, with all that build up gone.

 

Wet dreams are awesome ! But sadly I only had these dreams all when I was quitting on porn (so these moments were less enjoyable). From a young age I started with M so a wet dream was new and shocked me. I already had sex before my first wet dream so I know the difference between the real deal and wet dreams but the wet dream hitted me hard and I was in sort of a trance at the moment (it all seemed so real) It was funny because I was going strong in my no pmo challenge but when I slept it was such an internal battle and that resulted in a wet dream trance. I got them after +-14 days no sexual intercourse, porn or what so ever.

 

For me, it seems like the more I try to consciously avoid fantasizing during the day, the more sexualized my dreams become. It definitely feels kind of like an 'internal battle', as you described it. The closest I ever came to having a wet dream was on a twenty day streak, but I was dreaming about PMO so I forced myself to stop in the dream because I was afraid I was going to relapse. The irony in it was that I ended up relapsing the next day anyway. I just really wonder what it feels like to have a wet dream because I've literally never had one before.

Oh, there's no doubt in my mind that it's definitely going to happen eventually. It has to come out at some point, after all. I just hope it happens sooner rather than later. What can I say, I'm impatient.
