Hi, fellow brothers in arms, I am pleased to be a new member of this surely wonderful and supportive community. My name is Adam currently 18 y.o from Switzerland and I am willing to beat masturbation and porn- addiction very much.
I am Christian, so I have partly religious purposes to do so, but what´s more, I want to enhance my self-esteem and will. I have been masturbating since I was 12-13 years old and did not really think about what I was doing; it was a brand new, fun way to spend time. During the time of adolescence, I had issues with my body, I was lacking self-esteem when it came to forging relationships with the fearer sex.
Two years ago, I was struggling with depressive thoughts caused by unrequited love. I felt like I was full of love and I wanted a romantic partner very much, and yet I have been refused or lied to, every single time. (counted 4 so far)
I masturbate when I feel unsafe, hurt or/and unloveable, literally like shit. Funny thing is that when I am genuinely happy, for example when I feel joy by knowing that some girl may actually like me romantically, I do not feel like I need to masturbate.
