A SEVERE WARNING FOR PORN ADDICTS AND FAPPERS

    My names Tom. I've been a porn addict for more then 10 years and it has destroyed my life. I'm writing this to warn you guys not to make the mistake I did.

    I started watching porn at a young age and started fapping when I was 13. Masturbation destroyed my sex life. I couldnt last even 15 seconds because I masturbated so much and I actually got testicle pain. The doctors said I was fine but it happened because I fapped to much. Some people are going to say fapping is alright but its not. Just fapping once can take your stamina in bed way down. I'm recovering and my stamina is going up again. Just dont forget that if you keep this up, your done. You'll end up miserable and the addiction will become harder and harder to resist. It took a lot of hard work but Im finally breaking free.I'd like to remind you of a few things that'll help you.

    1. This wont be your last time: The next time your about to masturbate remember that you've said this'll be your last time. What you do today determines your future and if you fap today then you're done.

    2. Its hard: I know its hard. Porn addiction isn't easy. The problem is that your penis isnt hard because of it. Its really difficult to overcome porn addiction but its not impossible. Thousands have overcome it. They weren't more superior then you. They were just like you. YOU CAN DO IT.

    3. Real pleasure: Lemme give you guys some motivation. Masturbation is sad. It fucks your soul up and thats why it leaves you depressed. Masturbation is a sad act and its last only a few seconds. Sex is whats fun. If you stop fapping now, you'll end up with that rock hard penis again and enjoy being in bed with your lady. Orgasming isnt as fun as making a woman orgasm. Stop jerking off so that one day you can rock her world.

    4. Erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation: Yes you can cure these two things. After I stopped jerking off for 3 months, I started eating things that were good for my penis. You can just google "foods to overcome premature ejaculation" and eat them daily. I eat my watermelon, ginger, garlic and a few other things daily and in a few months I'm sure Ill be able to last atleast 15 minutes in bed.

    5. First time you fapped: We all remember the first time we fapped. I took us all at least 10 minutes. Now it takes us only a few strokes :( If we hadnt jerked off in our lives we would last longer then women. We can recover.

    6. Be a bad-ass in bed again: Wanna be a bad ass in bed again? Its not easy but this is how you do it. Dont masturbate for a year, eat foods that help overcome porn addiction and exercise.

    7. learn from mistakes:
    Always have a notebook by your side. Whenever you fap, write your mistakes in it(Dont use this as a motivation for fapping). A few examples were dont stay up late, dont click on hot posts or thumbnails, exercise daily etc). Write the mistakes and dont repeat them.

    8: Techniques that helped me:
    Let me share a few techniques that helped me stop fapping. The first is exercise. Lift heavy weights and exercise for at least an hour. You have to work out hard for the first 2 months.

    Meditate: this has been a great help. Whenever I felt like the urge was coming or when I had the urge I would meditate. You can do Zazen meditation or my personal meditation where I use affirmations. I sit and tell myself if I do this today I'll do it tomorrow aswell, Its a struggle but not impossible, I will overcome this obstacle, I wont let life beat me.

    Gratitude: Being grateful changed my life. It releases dopamine and reduces the urges. It also brings abundance and happiness. Read more on gratitude in books like the secret and the power.

    Run away Techniques:
    Porn makes your rational mind numb which is why determination isn't enough. When I start getting extremely horny and see it coming. I just get up and leave. I go on a jog and give thanks to God for saving me. This is a very important technique. It saved me.

    Jumping jacks: When the urge strikes. Sometimes I just get up, put some music on and do jumping jacks till I cant go on. Its fun once you get used to it and a very good technique.

    Fasting: I don't know why people don't know about this one but this is a life saver. Fasting is extremely difficult but its works wonders. It gives a lot of will power and I've used it in desperate times. In order to do this efficiently, wake up at 5am, eat and drink and then fast from 6am to 6pm. You are not allowed to eat or drink anything. I know its hard but this is by far, one of the best of all time. I recommend you workout 5 days of the week and fast for 2 days. You can stop fasting after the first 3 months but use it if you need it. This might sound extremely crazy but I've tried it and it works. Its winter so its not as hard as it sounds.

    8: The first two months are the hardest: I know its hard, its the hardest and most messed up things we've been struggling with but its not impossible. We can do it and we will. It gets much easier after 2 months so lets do our best.

    9: Avoid the triggers: Dont watch that video even if its just kissing, dancing, female wrestling, posing. Avoid triggers because they lead to porn.

    10: Read success stories forum: Reading the success stories have helped me a lot. They're keep you motivated. READ THEM EVERY SINGLE DAY.

    I disagree with item 3, 6 because I am single and plan to stay that way. Thanks for sharing your tips, I might apply some to my life. Specially that fasting idea.
     
  6. Thanks for sharing your wisdom with us! I've been struggling, more so lately. I have started an exercise regime at the local gym. My weekends and night time are the hardest times to over come the beast

    The body likes pleasure, and seeks it out. If there's none available, it manufactures its own.
    Nothing wrong with this, only with it becoming obsessive.

    Truth is, Reality delivers all the pleasure anybody needs, if and when one is able to perceive Reality.
    Until then, well, masturbation is a substitute.
