A hair loss sufferer

    Hello everyone,
    I read/heard from various sources on the internet (YouTube, hair loss forums etc) that abstaining from orgasm can help regrow hair. So here I am as a newbie.
    I must admit, from what I have seen so far there is little to no concrete proof (photos, or other hard evidence) to back this theory up. I am happy to be proven wrong of course.
    If there's a chance of regaining some of my hair, I'm willing to give it a go.

    Welcome, I'm glad you're here.

    I am very skeptical about claims like that -- about regrowing hair.

    Giving up porn and fapping can do a lot of good, but that's not likely one of things it can do for you.

    That has been one of my motivators also, even if there isnt solid evidence. All i know is i have spent many o' hours wasted in a sexual state of mind and by 22 I started going bald. That seems pretty early to assume I didnt contribute to it

    Hi guys,
    Thank you for the replies.

    I don't really do porn or fap at all. I did in my younger years and so that is likely to have contributed to my hair loss if there is indeed a correlation.

    I guess my challenge is abstaining from sex. I am married and have an active sex life.
    I believe it is referred to as hard mode?

    Will see if I manage to surpass my record of 8 days.

    Look at your father and your mother's father. If they are bold nothing can save you. Genetics doesnt allow it.
    Ask them when they started to loose hair and you will be surpriced that it is about the same time as you did.

    Hi @JustinX
    My mother's father was completely bald. I never saw him with hair, and nor does my mother remember seeing him with hair either.
    So he must have lost it at a very young age.

    I noticed my hair thinning from the age of 23.
    I'm going to be 40 this year and pretty much bald on top now. May consider scalp pigmentation soon.

    From what you say and what I've read so far on the forum, it seems avoiding sex probably isn't going to help.
