Today I've hit the 90 day benchmark, which is considered by Nofap to be a successful reboot.

I must be completely honest... days 60 to 90 was the easiest part of the journey. After enough days of Nofap, you almost forget about fapping and/or pornography... It's no longer part of your life, unless you re-introduce it to yourself - which would be suicide to any progress you've made.

I don't know what more to say, other than that I'm really happy that I've reached the 90 days for the first time in my life :)

If you have any questions, I'll be willing to answer them to the best of my ability.

    Well done! Thanks for sharing.

Right now i'm 7 days in and pretty much thinking about fapping all the time. Forgetting about fapping seems like a dream. When did you start to forget it?

Just like smoking really... the longer you stay away from it - the less you think about it. After enough time (I'd say after day 30...) you'll think less and less about it.

An important thing though, unless you have something better to think about, your mind will naturally wander.

If you have a great game, good book or something that can occupy your mind then fapping takes the backburner.

Congratulations sir. Just keep moving forward now the biggest mistake now you can commit is tell yourself that you have successfully rebooted. Not trying to be mean or rude in saying that just never stop and never give up it's a Continious fight, focus completely on your life and just like you said you forget about it after s handful of days . Much power sir :D

From your question, it seems like you believe that there are more than 5 benefits that could be experienced during the 90 day reboot.

    1. I have a deeper understanding of habits and why PMO had such a hold on me.
    2. Greater intimacy with my wife.
    3. Less procrastination.
    4. Getting to bed without feeling guilty/horrible - this feeling always comes AFTER a relapse
    5. More energy

It goes without saying, but a well balanced diet, good amount of sleep and hobbies (both physical and mental) plays a big role in ones life...

Hitting the 90 day benchmark without changing your life will inevitably result in a relapse... change your habits one by one and your life WILL improve.

Firstly, congrats! You should be proud of yourself! Secondly, what were you hobbies and habits that helped you? And what were your plans when urges come?

Congrats men and for the people who's asking , during the reboot the main reason that lead you to think about PMO is boredom believe me if you try to keep yourself occupied ( do anything read, watch ,learn new things ...) you will think much less of PMO.

I plan to hit 180 days next - and carrying on with an already well-established morning routine.

I also plan to develop an evening routine which will assist me in getting to bed on time, and limit my evening screen time.

Hobbies: Reading books, playing guitar, Dragon Age series, cooking and baking.

Habits: Up at 04:30, daily prayer, daily bible study, drinking lots of water, cooking from scratch, no sugar added drinks, reading engaging books, practicing awareness/deep breathing.

My urges mostly came when I'm bored, alone and in front of my PC.

One of the best changes I've made, is not allowing myself to become bored - I always have SOMETHING to do.

I don't bump a thread often, but when I do, it's when I've hit 150 days of successful noFap :)
