My goals are pretty well bedded in in my mind now, so I don't do that much daily. But I agree that it is very improtant to keep a focus on the goals (and to actually know your goals!), especially when you are in the "rough part" of a streak.

I think once you hit higher numbers and you are out of the said rough part, it is becomes less important to keep track of days. Like, 90 seems to be the big milestone and it can be encouraging/exciting to count your way towards that. But once you are, say, in triple figures, I don't think it matters much whether you are on 120 or 124!

Good that your goals are embedded in your mind.

    BUT

You may want to still review them and remind yourself each and every day on your journey of healing. There are plenty of folks that have been successful for LONG streaks - hundreds of days - that have relapsed. When they've reflected on the reasons, they very often posted on the reset and relapse forum that they lost sight of their goals, became complacent, and their motivation weakened to the point of not sustaining them. Nobody wants THAT to happen. Make time to remind yourself each and every day why you NEED to continue your journey.

Whatever works for you (or anyone else) with regard to counting days is fine. If it works for you, do it. If not, don't.

    Stay well.

Can't believe I had a reset the other day...the gains are still hanging around tho, which makes me very happy. Back on it now.

I promise to not PM for the next 24 hours.

Resets happen. Think about what triggered yours.

What are you doing to avoid falling into that same trap again ? If you don't change your behaviors, your response to triggers won't change either.

Ok so I’m nearly halfway through and have noticed some things

Early on I kept needing to pee, all the time. That has now largely subsided

I get way more spontaneous boners. Feels like I’m 21 again. My wood during sex is stronger too

My mood is much better. My energy levels are up. My confidence is higher and I feel more sociable and talkative to people including strangers

I also feel a lot less guilty.
Constantly jerking it to porn makes you feel bad about yourself

Honestly I wish I had started this program earlier. I honestly think I’m cured, I truly believe I will make it to 90 days, something that seemed impossible when I first came across this site

I'm having a hard time. Everyday I wish I had a girlfriend and a few days ago I started to talk to random women in the city but they weren't very receptive of me. I feel deprived and starved of sex as I've promised myself not even to fap no matter what.

    Hi @Saoconrado40 !

Great that you are feeling better and strong. Now is, however, a time to be cautious. As your journey continues, make sure you keep your goals, objectives and the reasons why you are here always fresh in your mind. When you lose sight of your goals, motivation weakens and resets and relapses often follow.

What are you doing each day to keep your goals, objectives, and "why's" fresh in your mind ?

Also, while your desire to PMO may be very weak right now and you may feel "cured", urges and temptations are very likely still lurking and waiting for an opportunity to strike. Make sure you know what your triggers are. Avoid those triggers you know about, and have a plan for dealing with triggers that you may not even know right now are triggers. Waiting until you are in the middle of an urge to start thinking about how you will get past the urge doesn't typically work; the urge usually wins.

If you want my two cents' worth, you've just got to get over it. We have all been living in a dream world where we can have Os whenever we like and as often as we like. You've got to get used to the new reality (the only reality!) that sometimes you might not have an O for months or even years. Accepting it and therefore not feeling sorry/frustrated/depressed/starved/deprived about it is the only way to succeed if you ask me.

Day 11. Due to past resets, I set a small goal of 15 days, and I am glad that I'm almost there.

List updated once again just now.

As everyone knows, once someone is inactive for 10 days, I put a question mark against their count and then remove from list a few days later.

We are losing members, but well done to those who remain active!

Yes. How many hours do you pledge to not PM or PMO?

Your body is doing what it needs to do. Let it. Some have lots of WD, others have very few or none. Your body will do what is right for your body.

Just be aware of the potential for the Chaser Effect to show up. Have a look at the Glossary at the top of this page for definitions of abbreviations and terms (including Chaser Effect) that may be unfamiliar to you.

Day 21 wow. Only 1 wet dream in this period. But somehow I feel I'm cheating as I'm fantasizing everyday sexual thoughts with pleasure.
