So looking at images of women is an edge, but for his counter since he runs it and is his own only true form of accountability it was not enough for him to reset it. I understand that entirely and think it is fine, and happy that he told us that he edged...and least he didn't M and edge, right?

Up to day 40. Proud of myself, never imagined I could go this long. To anyone starting out it is daunting but totally possible- every journey starts with a first step

I honestly think I’m cured now but let’s see if I can keep it up

Porn/masturbation addiction is no different to drug/alcohol addiction in my opinion, the negative mental and physical effects are horrendous. The internet has made this a world wide epidemic for men I think, it is a
HUGE problem! So glad I discovered nofap

    So, guys I am leaving.
I know that's very weak of me but I just can't go on like this. I am going for the middle ground.
I hope you guys get to your goals and further in every walk of life.
Thank you for your support. NoFap is an amazing community.
    Farewell.

    Yes.
But go4arun is right and I am just quiting the NoFap challenge but I will try to limit PM.
These hace taught me that there are some other things that I need to fix first and I think doing them will naturally help me quit PM. But for now I am leaving NoFap.

I'm still in the race but it's difficult. And I am noticing all women attractiveness has been tripled in my eyes all of a sudden! But it is summer and women are starting to wear skirts and dresses.

Correct. There is no room for complacency during noPMO journeys. Its critical to remind yourself each and every day of your goals, objectives, and reasons "why I am here". When we lose sight of your goals and "why's", motivation weakens and resets and relapses often follow.

What are you doing to keep your goals fresh in your mind each and every day ?

I'm fine, thanks. I don't keep close track of days (One of my many idiosyncratic behaviors !)

You made a good decision to come to this place, and have made more good decisions as you have progressed along your journey of healing. Go make some more good decisions.

    Stay strong and be well.

Good that your goals are embedded in your mind.

    BUT

You may want to still review them and remind yourself each and every day on your journey of healing. There are plenty of folks that have been successful for LONG streaks - hundreds of days - that have relapsed. When they've reflected on the reasons, they very often posted on the reset and relapse forum that they lost sight of their goals, became complacent, and their motivation weakened to the point of not sustaining them. Nobody wants THAT to happen. Make time to remind yourself each and every day why you NEED to continue your journey.

Whatever works for you (or anyone else) with regard to counting days is fine. If it works for you, do it. If not, don't.

    Stay well.

Can't believe I had a reset the other day...the gains are still hanging around tho, which makes me very happy. Back on it now.

I promise to not PM for the next 24 hours.

Resets happen. Think about what triggered yours.

What are you doing to avoid falling into that same trap again ? If you don't change your behaviors, your response to triggers won't change either.

Ok so I’m nearly halfway through and have noticed some things

Early on I kept needing to pee, all the time. That has now largely subsided

I get way more spontaneous boners. Feels like I’m 21 again. My wood during sex is stronger too

My mood is much better. My energy levels are up. My confidence is higher and I feel more sociable and talkative to people including strangers

I also feel a lot less guilty.
Constantly jerking it to porn makes you feel bad about yourself

Honestly I wish I had started this program earlier. I honestly think I’m cured, I truly believe I will make it to 90 days, something that seemed impossible when I first came across this site

I'm having a hard time. Everyday I wish I had a girlfriend and a few days ago I started to talk to random women in the city but they weren't very receptive of me. I feel deprived and starved of sex as I've promised myself not even to fap no matter what.

    Hi @Saoconrado40 !

Great that you are feeling better and strong. Now is, however, a time to be cautious. As your journey continues, make sure you keep your goals, objectives and the reasons why you are here always fresh in your mind. When you lose sight of your goals, motivation weakens and resets and relapses often follow.

What are you doing each day to keep your goals, objectives, and "why's" fresh in your mind ?

Also, while your desire to PMO may be very weak right now and you may feel "cured", urges and temptations are very likely still lurking and waiting for an opportunity to strike. Make sure you know what your triggers are. Avoid those triggers you know about, and have a plan for dealing with triggers that you may not even know right now are triggers. Waiting until you are in the middle of an urge to start thinking about how you will get past the urge doesn't typically work; the urge usually wins.
