  17. Day 11
I feel like I'm flying at the moment. Don't want to get cocky or overconfident though. It will lead only to being complacent and I know very well what that means.
So I decided to track some of my negative thoughts that I have throughout the day yesterday using a wrist counter app for android. This was a suggestion from the book Feeling Good. I modified this exercise a little and categorized my thoughts into the following:
Self pity thoughts (saying to myself things like I'm a loser), Perverted thoughts, Judging others thoughts, Complaining thoughts, Affected by Others Opinions thoughts.
Each thought would get a score or count of 1 and categorized accordingly. I always assumed that self pity thoughts were number 1. Well, I found out that by an overwhelming margin my Affected by Others Opinions Thoughts were the most frequent. I just didn't know how much other peoples' opinions affected my behaviour and actions throughout a single day. Of course, this is a very small sample size and I need to do this exercise for at least 2 to 3 weeks and see which negative thoughts are most recurring in my head.
This exercise also helped me to be cognizant of perverted thoughts throughout the day and kill them dead before they affected my emotions. My count of perverted thoughts throughout the day was 5.
